TGOW_ Quite often but very rarely seen Midas so full of product enthusiasm - The volume however today is potentially a massive overhang if the share price drops back and stop losses kick in. (all imo dyor etc)

I wonder how unusual it is for Midas to tip a small stock like this. They must have conviction.

"I still see significant growth going forward for several years based on the IP"

There you go...backing up my comment....

"I don't think the companies making alcohol based sanitiser will disappear overnight. P&G for instance, is a massive global company and will adapt."

Byot released Byotrol24, what did P&G do, they adapted and launched their own..

According to the DM article...

"That means Byotrol scores well with regulators and customers. In America, for instance, Byotrol was the first company to obtain regulatory approval for a long-lasting germ-killing spray, Byotrol 24.

Procter & Gamble subsequently launched a rival, but Byotrol was there first and the spray is so popular that it has temporarily sold out in the US market. "

"you just always interpret things in to your view If Covid disappears"

That's what makes a discussion... You believe significant growth for several years, I don't.
why can't people on here accept different opinions... Only ramping allowed says a lot.

I don't think the companies making alcohol based sanitiser will disappear overnight. P&G for instance, is a massive global company and will adapt.

I haven't seen any evidence to suggest that the official advice from WHO, CDC or NHS to use alcohol based sanitiser is going to change soon.

Can you post where WHO/CDC have stated that their advice for alcohol based sanitiser is changing?

WHO:

"Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand rub if your hands are not visibly dirty."

CDC:

"If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty."

Heck of a day. Good old Midas/Mail on Sunday!

I'll admit to being surprised to see such a strong and sustained rise on the back of a newspaper tip, when compared with the rise on the back of the 3rd August TU.

It looked almost as though there was a short squeeze, but I can't imagine there's much shorting of such a small and (normally) illiquid stock. So maybe it was in part momentum chasers coming in following the Midas article and the Zak charting piece. Or perhaps a seller cleared. Or perhaps someone who was thinking of building a position decided to act sooner than they otherwise would have done due to FOMO.

Doesn't really matter I suppose, just so long as business results and sentiment stay strong - and I would have thought the company is well-placed now to manage positive news flow through the next few months, with results, TUs, news on byotrol24 getting going in the US (if not South America) and hopefully further licence deals.

STT I give up you just always interpret things in to your view If Covid disappears Today I still see significant growth going forward for several years based on the IP and EU regularity change and I will leave it at that

I've now sold all mine today...

Without new deals, clarification on what the 'minimum guarantee payments' actually are, I think current newsflow is factored in the share price and it is fundamentally overvalued....
Risk/reward...very Covid dependent...

Obviously the gang will back themselves and not sell any for another year. Honest guv ;-)

My post from Jan when share price was around 1.7p.

Best1467,

"STT BYTL &TLY have benefited from c19"

There's a huge difference between benefiting from Covid and dependent on Covid.

TLY figures for fy2020, March are actuals, largely pre-Covid. So £105m revenue, £4m adj Ebitda, £8.9m cash, largely pre-covid and the business is growing strongly.

People need healthcare regardless of Covid. There is a huge 10.5m NHS waiting list for operations, all of which are open to TLY. And that's just UK.
People need health treatment.

People choose to buy Byot products. They don't need to, as there are lots of alternatives.

With Covid, what will happen once Covid is history, whether there's a vaccine or people simply ignore it?

Businesses and people will only wear masks or provide a Covid clean office whilst they legally have to.. Otherwise they won't bother.

STT BYTL &TLY have benefited from c19 but not solely as I’ve explained before the new Eu Regulation to arrive is going to remove a large proportion of the existing Competion and that along with new licensing deals which some will not contribute until 2021/22 with further deals to come .
It’s a growth sector I’m happy to see how it plays out but confident BYTL have the potential for exceptional returns down to its superior IP Than most of the competitors
