Somebody is selling blocks of 100,000 every few minutes since the opening today.
Lots of shares on the move and some odd pricing going on.

The initial upfront fee of only $250k (£200k) probably suggests Royalty fees are expected to be low.

I think it's too little too late in US.

1gw, yes, they will recognise the licensing fee upfront in this years financials.

The £1m sales per month is during the initial stage of the virus. They said they don't expect to maintain that level going forward.

After all these months of seeking a US partner, they couldn't find a major one. The US partner was already known.

How much was the agency fee? Probably more than the initial fee $250k they receive from the partnership.

Particularly nice in the US deal to see an actual "up-front" I thought. Very biotech.

It's difficult to estimate what the US deal could be worth, but potentially I think it is huge. The key will be how much resource the new consortium puts behind the product, and of course what the royalty rate is. Originally, when byotrol started talking about looking for a partner, finnCap talked about needing $5m of marketing spend to get to $20m of sales, which was seen as a "breakout" level. Then there is the supply chain - how quickly can they put an efficient supply chain in place and what levels of production can they reach.

It is a 10 year license, so if the consortium succeeds in capturing material market share then byotrol will have a valuable asset at the end of the 10 years. The US should also act as a shop window for other markets - we've already seen the Hong Kong distributor freight in byotrol24 to sell there.

On this year's financials, as I read today's announcement they are moving away from supply agreements and towards straight licensing agreements. I hesitate to speculate on IFRS15 rules, but I think if it is a pure licensing agreement with no "performance obligations" beyond supplying the license then they may book any guaranteed payments (even if to be realised over several years) once the license has been signed - perhaps someone better-acquainted with IFRS interpretation can comment here?

So potentially this year they have significant product sales (£12m run rate it seems) plus material license revenue. And the £1m/month product sales are presumably still supply-constrained, so there is potential to ramp up further as the supply chain constraints ease, although at some point the extraordinary current demand may reduce.

Sales and orders haven't changed from their previous announcement. They previously said £2m for Q1.

Upfront licence fee from US partner of only $250k!!

Very disappointing indeed.

The coronavirus "may never go away", the World Health Organization (WHO) has warned.

The Silver lining for BYOT - BYOT may well be a key company in reducing COVID-19 infection risk - Keep safe..

Am I the only one who actually finds it a bit disappointing? I was expecting them to do £12 - £18m of revenue this year given the incredible demand, which would be profit after tax of something like 1-3m.

Now looks like even that low end might be the best case if they are only doing 1m in the 3 key months of march april may while companies stockpile resources.

So now Im thinking 10-12m of revenue once things settle down, and profit after tax of £600k - £1.2m. Doesn't make this cheap enough to demand a 20% rise from here.

Who are this US partner?

Yep, reads very, very well. March and April sales of over £1m each imply say £12m annualised revenues, against the H1 sales of £2.2m. Enough said :o))

Excellent news, the US licensing agreement is very welcome. Certainty of income, significant cost saves y-o-y and a long term capital light strategy for the US. Well done all for keeping the faith.

So roughly £1M/month sales plus license and royalties fees from the two agreements plus recent Tristel agreement plus Actizone royalties..Would hope to see a good morning note from Finncap!!

I think they are creating potentially significant medium term earnings power also at a high multiple due to royalty nature,

The 50ml hand sanitiser has been on Boots website for around 6 weeks.
The poster below said it was back on the shelves. I checked it online a couple of days later and it was indeed back online...Hence why I never commented about it
You even acknowledged it with the comment 'nice'
For it to be on the shelves by 1st Apr, Byot would have supplied it before then, wouldn't they - therefore, already accounted for in fy2019.

It's NOT new availability.

They have never sold it as BOGOF... It was Buy One Get One Half Price.

2 pieces of incorrect information from 1gw, portraying Boots as new availability

Can confirm the Byotrol viral hand wash is filtering back into Boots stores. I saw them put away this stock, so I snaffled two of them! Two images taken

But still out of stock online

Nice. I'm still waiting for my byotrol products to arrive from homeandcleaning.co.uk (ordered Friday morning).

Availability.

50ml (but not 200ml) hand sanitiser appears to be available now at Boots online store, and no longer on the BOGOF promotion [edit: promotion was Buy One Get One Half Price according to sikhthetech post below]:

But Medimark own store still showing byotrol products as out-of-stock:

Meanwhile, sales of the (apparently) new 5 litre All Clear bottle (by Assured Products Limited) on Amazon are presumably going to have to encounter the headwind of this 1 star review by Sandy. I would hope byotrol/Assured Products can get in touch with Sandy and that Sandy will withdraw the allegations once convinced that the product is genuine (which I presume it is since it is sold through the distributor Assured Products).
