10/2/2020 12:29 | They also announced they were 'close' to securing a 2nd US retailer, yet that never happened... and they lost the Tesco contract - just before the Coronavirus outbreak... May 2019: "We are also now close to securing an additional new national retailer trial in the US." TESCO: Question is whether they've managed to find alternative retailer, sign agreements and supplied them before the Coronavirus outbreak settles and is old news.. "Post year end we came to the end of our licence relationship with Robert McBride plc and therefore to supplying surface sprays to Tesco. This was an excellent arrangement for us for many years, but it has now run its course and we expect to generate higher margin opportunities with better brand equity from other consumer initiatives. " | sikhthetech
10/2/2020 12:24 | Fair point | elited10
10/2/2020 12:22 | Elited, "The trial was only due to last 12 weeks" That's the point, it was supposed to be a trial, announced 18months ago... never been rolled out across all Target stores Yet it's due to finish next month.. so after 18months.. "As this process continues we are reducing marketing spend linked to the Target retail trial and are now expecting the in-store trial to lapse at the end of March 2020. " | sikhthetech
10/2/2020 12:16 | The trial was only due to last 12 weeks, Shirley it can't still be in the trial period. I'd suggest not | elited10
10/2/2020 12:13 | you are fighting a loosing battle sikh... | kcowe
10/2/2020 12:00 | "sanitation and lots of it" Yes.... Hospitals already do as a part of normal routine... same thing after the major outbreak from a decade ago... Yet a decade down the line... Byot 1st patent was in the 1990s, some 25yrs ago... Byot IPO was 2005, some 15 yrs ago. They had a spike in sales during the last major outbreak a decade ago. That's a very long time to sort out business problems and funding. Will they be ready for the next outbreak or the one after that??? They've lost the Tesco contract... The trial at Target stores in USA was announced 18months ago...It doesn't take 18months to complete a trial at a retailer... 1 winter's, 2018-19, data should have been enough to gain more USA retailers. Yet a 2nd 'potential' retailer walked away.. | sikhthetech
10/2/2020 11:54 | how do you fight something you cannot see... sanitation and lots of it . byot fits the bill non toxic and 24hour protection .. | kcowe |
