"They also sold out after I bought some there a week and a half ago but have restocked"

Wow, how many bottles of 200ml & 600ml do you need...

You are aware they are supposed to be LONG LASTING... lol

If you are struggling to get some you can buy 600ml bottles of Invirtu at Viking right now. They also sold out after I bought some there a week and a half ago but have restocked

"frequently saying “more than 100 sold in last 24 hours”. "

and I did mention the '100 sold' week Friday ago...when I said I'm monitoring them..

The point is they have been out of stock for a week.
Are they having supply chain problems?

Didn't they prepare for such a spike, given it's been around 6 weeks since the outbreak was announced. Byot saw a similar spike around a decade ago, so should have been prepared for one.

I said yesterday to look at number of Boots anti-viral sanitisers sold..

50ml... sold out
200ml.. over 100 sold in last 24 hrs....

yesterday:
Boots have re-stocked the Boots antiviral hand foam..
Both the 50ml & 200ml available in stock...was out of stock yesterday...

50ml: '73 purchased in last 24hrs'
200ml: '81 purchased in last 24hrs'...

Lets see how many they sell by tomorrow evening...

One would presume that's because it is selling well right now due to virus fears, judging by the messages which pop up when viewing the product frequently saying "more than 100 sold in last 24 hours". But you'll know that as you are watching the Boots site. Those messages and Byotrol's own comments which have been posted online to the effect of "experiencing unprecedented demand for our Invirtu alcohol-free hand sanitiser". Plus directors recently bought. Good enough for me

"200ml bottles last Sunday"

Exactly, thank you - that backs up my point - they've sold out for a week

I'm saying 200ml bottles were in stock last Sunday but not since..
Last Sunday is not last 7 days, is it? Mon-Sun..

Thanks for the links but I have been able to find my own way to Boots website and buy some of both the 50ml and 200ml on two occasions in the last two weeks.

Mutley,

My links in my posts were for the 200ml bottles.. they've been out of stock all week and currently are STILL showing out of stock - check the link.. As you say, they had stock on and off the previous week... and I posted that fact when Kcowe bought 100x 200ml bottles!!!

The 50ml bottles have been in stock all week... £3.19 for 50ml, £5.19 for 200ml 4x the size!!

Check the link:

Online:

and check stores in London:
2 out of about 70 stores have some stock

Actually Boots have had stock in several times in the last couple of weeks - they have sold out quickly and then stock has come online again. This includes in the last week where they have not been showing as sold out for the entire week - you can buy the 50ml Boots Byotrol hand foam this very second
