Well it might while the coronavirus-inspired demand persists, but I imagine they've got high demand on most of their anti-viral cleaning products at the moment. The issue with byotrol24, as I understand it, is the Target trial was not profitable at pre-coronavirus sales rates, and to make the breakthrough in a competitive FMCG marketplace byotrol think they need to spend $5m on US marketing, which would get them to $20m in sales. They might be able to spike sales for a short period during the coronavirus scare, but those sales would likely not be sustainable after things returned to normal without significant marketing spend. There might also be a question mark over the supply chain - they've put in place a supply chain geared to providing a relatively low volume of product into the trial. Do they have the contractual relationships in place to allow them suddenly to lift the volume, especially if they can't commit to minimum levels over an extended period? So the focus has to be, imo, landing an investment partner who can commit the marketing spend to grow sales to a sustainable, profitable level in a non-coronavirus environment. And in parallel they need to develop a supply chain that can efficiently service a much higher level of sales. And while it's interesting to know that they can't keep up with demand on invirtu (if that's the tweet you're referring to), it again speaks to supply chain inflexibility. Or rather that their supply chain is optimised for a "normal" low level of sales, not dealing with a sudden spike in demand. My hope is that SC Johnson is geared towards supplying much higher levels of product into the NHS and that they may be able to capitalise on any spike in demand there - i.e. that they will have put in place a supply chain which is flexible enough to ramp up production and supply when required, either for normal winter 'flu-type demand or the current special situation. And byotrol will then benefit through the licensing agreement they have with SC Johnson. If they are going to put out any information on increased demand I would have thought it makes sense to frame it in the context of market expectations for full year results. If demand through Medimark professional, the SC Johnson deal or elsewhere is sufficient for them to expect to beat significantly the £6m revenue that finnCap is forecasting, then it would be good to hear that. But as an investor, I would really rather they focus on capturing the business development opportunities that are out there now, while the environment remains so favourable - i.e. trying to secure a US funding partner on attractive terms, maybe expanding the scope of that partnership to include a hand sanitiser, and perhaps also trying to land a licensing deal for one of their non-core technologies.

The fact it has all sold out won't change Targets mind? Interesting that our tweet from Jan 30th hasn't been noticed by the wider market yet. Now the directors have had their orders filled perhaps IR might get a few pieces out.

You mean from the Investors/News page? Seems to work for me. hTtps://byotrolplc.com/why-we-should-be-protecting-our-healthcare-workers-from-coronavirus-now/ Don't know about Target. I have asked, but I don't think it's worth bothering the CEO for and the IR contact didn't immediately know. It seems odd to put a "sold out" message up, if it is targeted at consumers, without something saying that they are working hard to make new product available. FWIW my own theory is that the messages on byotrol24 (the "coronavirus" sticker and the "sold out" message) are really aimed at potential investment partners rather than at consumers. We know the trial was costing byotrol. I would hope that they managed positive gross margin and so a spike in demand would at least reduce their losses, rather than add to them. But depending on the progress they're making with their partnership process, it may not be worth throwing more resources at the trial to satisfy the demand spike, given the trial was scheduled to close next month anyway.

Kindly posted by pawnsacrifice on Lse Coronavirus can live up to 9 days on surfaces - German scientists Coronavirus is capable of living on the surfaces as much as nine days, remaining infectious, according to the group of German researchers. Scientists from Greifswald and Bochum claimed in their report released on Friday that its average living time is four to five days at room temperature. "Cold and high humidity increase their lifespan even further," G√ľnter Kampf from the Institute for Hygiene and Environmental Medicine at the University Medical Center in Greifswald warned. If you look at the number of applications in a 50ml bottle of santiser, you'll see the number of man years 100x200ml bottles will last... 2-3 200ml bottles should last at around 6 months.. Kcowe, why did you order 100 bottles from boots... or was that just a lie...

I've never sold a single byotrol share, stt. I was quite tempted to sell some when the price got above my average purchase price, given the weight byot is in my portfolio, but in the end decided to add instead.

If you want to go for a more "nuclear" option than hand sanitiser, Airgene sounds pretty scary (for viruses at least): "Effective against Viruses (Coronavirus, Influenza, HIV, HBV, HCV), Bacteria, Fungi, Mycobacteria A 50ml small container will cover 40m3 rooms (i.e. W4m x L4m x H2.5m) 15 minute contact time - remove humans and animals from room and leave for 60 minutes before re-entering." hTtps://medimark.myshopify.com/collections/human-health/products/airgene-aerosol-disinfectant-12-x-50ml

Good to see some early signs of cross-selling on the Medimark site, now that the earn-out is out of the way (if the product wasn't already there): "We also recommend INVIRTU alcohol-free hand foam sanitiser effective against enveloped viruses, including strains of Coronavirus within 30 seconds. Products can be ordered from our website - hxxps://medimark.myshopify.com/collections/human-health" hTtp://medi-mark.co.uk/media-centre/article/worried-about-coronavrius hTtps://medimark.myshopify.com/collections/human-health

Feels like the stragglers from the circus are packing up their bags and moving on now. It will be interesting to see how much (if any!) of the spike we can hold on to until we get actual news.

And yet you arent invested STT1, but are posting about a stock you arent invested in, so again whats the purpose of your posts? You also post on advfn under a different name posting the same negative posts. So youre either posting for a competitors brand or your trying to short the stock for your employer

Kcowe, "cant keep up with demand" It was a trial at some Target stores, so I doubt they would have had many in stock during a trial. If anything it's a loss of potential customers. Can they re-stock quickly or have they missed the opportunity? Btw, why did you order 100 bottles of hand santiser from Boots? ;-)
