You just do your research and make your choice. You could buy a blue chip and the next day they announce a profit warning. Every stock is a gamble.

Regarding BWP, market cap is about 420k, they have 250k in the bank plus whatever the listing is worth. They may not go up but imho they are about as low as they will get. So the only way is up and they have a full 2 years to do it.

Interesting to find out that Savoy Investment Management Limited have a 17% stake in FIV, and a 20% stake in FTI, both run by the guys running BWP. No wonder Fiske's been happy to help them bring these companies to the AiM.
Their resume's are quite impressive also.

The guys behind BWP are also behind WTI, FIV, MHG and FIV. They all seem to be in similar situations. Micro cap cash shells all looking to raise funds in the near future for RTOs. Someone once said they were experts at taking over failing companies, turning them into cash shells and making good acquisitions.
I worry that they may be stretching themselves trying to do the same things with so many companies at the same time. And, there's quite a few micro cap cash shells out there all looking for RTOs.
That said, someone somewhere is backing them. Fiske has helped them bring a few of these companies to the AiM so maybe they do have potential.
Just my thots.
