I thought it odd that there was no tick up with your buy's as the share price has moved up alot recently on alot smaller numbers.Maybe there is a large seller out there??

Granny, i found it interesting the blocks of 200,000 and 150,000 of mine did not move the share price at all when the share price was alread 3.5% down. I also found it interesting to note i could not buy 350,000 in one hit. I also did a test 18,242 trade before the larger buys.

I am hoping for a very bullish H2 followed by a forward looking very bullish trading statement.

scottie01,

I reckon you are right regarding a trading update. BDG issued a trading statement on 12-12-05 and last year on 14-12-06 they announced a fund raising and general strategic rewiew.

I'll go for Monday 17-12-2007. I can't remember the rules on Director share purchases before trading statements. If it is a month then it would seem that Fridays purchase was the last possible moment available.. Anyone here fully upto speed on LSE regs on Director share transactions and closed periods?

A bit of weekend press or the shares mag or the IC doing aBDG write up would be lovely.

As others have said, the signs of recovery continue to become more apparent at BDG.

The director who bought shares is in charge of global licensing, as I have said , this is money for old rope orders are due any day , or could be in the bag by now.
