Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), the AIM quoted, integrated primary vanadium producer and energy storage provider, with ownership of high-grade assets in South Africa, is pleased to announce that it has signed a long-term Production Financing Agreement of US$30 million (or the "PFA") with mining-focused investment business Orion Mine Finance ("Orion"), primarily to finance its expansion plans at Vametco and debt repayment. Drawdown on the loan is subject to completion of certain conditions precedent as described in this announcement. Under a separate investment agreement, Orion has also conditionally agreed to subscribe for a minimum of US$10 million, and a maximum of US$20 million of convertible loan notes under a US$35 million convertible loan notes instrument (the "Instrument"). The Company intends to seek other subscribers for the balance of the total. The Instrument's proceeds will go towards the first phase of Vanchem's critical refurbishment programme and debt repayment.

There is no indication that this coronavirus is affected by either summer temperatures or UV. However, its spread is affected by proximity, particularly in enclosed spaces. This is why cases rose sharply in the US at the height of the summer (they rushed for the air con!). I actually believe SA's figures more than Germany's currently. Apparently people in Germany catch the disease but very few die at the moment.

Zwift, SA is in the southern hemisphere, ie encriching on summer now.Warmer temps and more uv radiation seems to keep it check.. Fingers crossed

Agree, current production will not satisfy the upcoming huge demand. This is why the Orion funding is so important to increase capacity further.

Gah.. Fortune better get his finger out and ramp up production then. BMN don't even produce enough V per year For a 1GWh VRFB

A 1GWh VRFB would need 4,500 tonnes of vanadium.A 1GWh production facility would need the same amount every year.

Plat Hunter.. Thanks, what an eye opener! Ive checked the various articles you mentioned and it all looks very grim unfortunately. Ive had a quick look at excess deaths for Pretoria, as I know many BMN workers live in the region, it is having one of the worst years on record. I know Vametco is an open cast mine and transmission rates should be low, but what happens when workers go home to over crowded town I hope this doesn’t become a problem for investors Zwift

Does anyone else think South Africa are not telling the truth about their covid numbers South Africa have only been averaging between 1800 to 2000 cases per day for the last 8 weeks! Most other countries are well into a second wave Lets hope they don’t have another lockdown at the mine, just as things have started to look better for BMN investors

Just a reminder Bmn share price was significantly higher (low 20's) when the vanadium price was lower. GS selling has given savy investors the opportunity to buy at a significant discount to underlying worth. IMO the share price will re-rate to 20p soon.

Gah, you're so unbelievably inaccurate with your assumptions and ascertions that running rings round you would be embarrassing. Not to mention your grasp of grammar and language .Plus....I also don't need to, you've been here two minutes. As my grandad used to say... "Behave yourself kidder, you're still to wet behind the ears"

True enough Luca, It's like what JC was saying. There is a time in every companies life when the bod needs refreshing.Has that juncture already passed, is it now or later still down the road?Maybe the batteries will work and BMN will 20 bag to knutties predicted £2 tokens. I sincerely hope it does.

Thanks for reply. I get where you are coming from.Maybe without Fortune they wouldn't have had vametco and wouldn't have had the opportunity to gamble on the batteries. It is interesting and I do hope the batteries come off and improve the company and everyone wins.I guess it's a wait and see and look for opportunities on the way.I've not got the time nor inclination to try and trade any share but will keep an eye on the gaps you have mentioned with interest.GLA
