Seems like a bad day all round, everyone fearful of another lock down,
Even most Pharma stocks got hammered today
A good time to buy, if you have the money

Possibly the same cost as transporting the Vanadium to East London... or maybe less if the 3rd party is closer?

I’m trying to be positive,
lower V price means cheaper electrolyte,
The only down side is, what will be the Cost of transporting Vanadium to a third party for processing?

At Least VRFBs will be cheaper,

Concerns about the abundant supply of vanadium in China, because of the import of large volumes of material in the first half of the year, have started to push prices downward, market sources told Fastmarkets on Monday October 26.

“Producers are oversupplied and demand from China is slow, with prices there moving aggressively down. The unsold material in China is creating pressure in the market,” a trader in Europe said.
“Too much material has been going to China, and interest in imports has been slowing down,” a second trader in Europe said.
China’s imports of ferro-vanadium totaled 394 tonnes in the first six months of this year, compared with only 92 tonnes imported in the corresponding period of 2019.
And the East Asian country’s imports of vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) totaled 2,140 tonnes in the first six months of 2020, compared with a mere 21 tonnes imported over the same period of last year.

Ps.. if you can get matched for the 12.62 and stick a limit in for the gap up at 13.25 then that would be nigh on 5% profit.Very achievable here in just a few days, given it's ATR and providing it doesn't go straight down to the next gap.

Some people might buy in small chunks as the gaps down are closed out then sell those chunks on a first in, first out basis as the gaps up eventually get closed.Handy way of investing in a ranging market and you don't take all your risk on a single price and end up being a bag holder at a higher price. Which i still end up doing myself far to often. If you believe in the company, you can always retain your profits as free shares and build a position slowly over time.Different strokes for different folks and all of that

Not necessarily just for moving higher but prior to it moving out of the 10-15p channel I would expect to see them closed.Better to close the lower ones first, so you don't revisit on the way back up.The gap down at 12.62 did close today but it opened a new one up at 13.25.. so we have two gaps up now including the 14.33Important caviat, the saying that all gaps get filled is not always correct, momentum gaps can occur when new participants enter the market. They are a guide to the current volatility only.

Plat, are you envisaging all of the gaps you mention closing before this rises again?

prices matched outside of the candles open and close, represent the prices traded within the same period and are referred to as the shadow.

So a long thin line beneath the close of the candle would highlight that the share price fell but recovered during the period or vice versa if the share price spiked and then gave it all back.

It's not so much volume related, it's the opening and close price of the candle at the start and end of the specific trading period the candle represents.

For example if the market opens at 13p at 8am then the respective 5hr candle will close at 1pm. Even if the the share price crashed to 3p by 11am but recovered back to 13p by 1pm when the candle closes, the gap would still have not been filled and would remain outstanding for the next session.

It's more a measure of volatility than anything else.
