That would be ironic. The only people installing a VRFB are BMN themselves. They can be the Lancashire spinners cooperative after Arkwrights Mule arrived.

I'm waiting for someone to post here or elsewhere and explain why vfrbs are more suitable . The claim before about the bill gates backed flow battery was that it was slow to charge discharge and only useful for really long duration . But having read their website it's daily cycle and performs best when it's fully charged and discharged every 48 hours ....to be honest it won't really matter to the share price here as there's nothing in the valuation for be etc . Maybe it's why fortune has given up communicating about be other than the recent minigrid .

Buy and hold in blind faith it all works out...Hold even when you are convinced it won't...Not sure which one is worse :)

Think you're right. No way vrfb's are gonna make it. Best sell and move on. Heard bill gates is involved in battery storage so that could be worth a look :)

“Ambri’s high volume production facility is planned to produce multiple gigawatt-hours of systems in the USA starting in 2024”.

They have raised the cash, executed, are backed by billionaires and winning orders in our back yard.

Let’s see what excuses Mikhail has to say about that? I bet he’s on suicide watch.

It is truly shocking that a project of this size in South Africa has gone to a start up business with a cheaper chemistry.

The scale is massive and knockS us off our perch for having the largest PV / storage system In South Africa. How long did they have those bragging rights. Four days!

It seems to me we have no competitive edge over Albri’s tech. Blown out the water before we even got started. Seven years down the drain.

The $151 m is an absolute shocker . Possibly the biggest boo boo in bmn history .

The house broker share price angel last broker note has 2024 e production at 7737 MTV .

Capex to get there $52.9 million over 2023 and 2024 . But wait that is total capex !!! Includes Be and sustaining capex and environmental capex !!!
So capex to get to 7737 MTV in the last broker note by the house broker who are suupplied information by the company was around c $35 million !!!!.......

This is the extent of the underestimation of the capex required and is clearly a game changer in valuing bmn. One minute it's c $35 million the next $151 million ......I wonder if the analysts will comment when they re-do their forecasts as they look a bit stupid here ....
