The key point in these situations is whether or not you can buy when the price is dropped like this. If you can't buy at all then it is commonly referred to as a 'tree shake' and just a fishing expedition by the market makers. If you can buy then the drop is being precipitated by selling. There is some evidence this morning that there was some selling but this has stimulated some buying. I wouldn't worry about this kind of action that much and whether it is a short attempt or just selling makes little real difference.

It's a short attack jamdan1. Have a look at some comments on Bushveld Perspective. I asked about it on LSE earlier and Alfa has replied. Typical of this type of short, I am unable to buy any shares at the lows...surprise surprise

Very true chickpot. A few numpties on LSE keep trying to compare the BMN valuation to Largo.....bit like comparing a Fiat 500 to a Porsche
