#BMN pushing all-time highs as FeV prices smash through 13 year highs.

I've got one for you all - at current FeV prices, BMN will be making roughly the same EBITDA in 2019 as #BOO and #FEVR combined.

BMN mcap - £311m

BOO and FEVR combined mcap - £6,400m.

Food for thought.

Expected a bigger rise today after the late notice RNS on Friday. Still am nicely in the blue here and this will only rise with the news flow upcoming. GLA

Fortune Mojapelo, CEO of Bushveld Minerals Limited, commented:

"We are delighted that we have been able to reach an agreement that results in the mining operations resuming. This is a positive outcome for all parties, ensuring that the resource continues to bear fruit while the Company strives towards building a sound partnership with all employees.

"We are particularly pleased that the agreement upholds all previous engagements and agreements entered into by the Company and workers including the May 2018 settlement agreement. In addition, the agreement affirms the important role of the workers as key stakeholders for the Company, and we are pleased they will share in the success of Bushveld Minerals.

"Finally, the settlement agreement includes provisions designed to discourage any future participation in unprotected industrial actions by the workers at the risk of losing the participation of any ESOP payments. We are glad that all parties have reached a mutual beneficial agreement and we can now look forward to ending the year with a solid performance."

Great news and know we will see the share price rise over the coming days!

Bushveld Vametco Stike Over! - Recently posted on "In the Right Vein"
Workers returned to the job for the night shift today at Bushveld Minerals’ Vametco FeV operations in Brits, South Africa. The strike began on Sept. 5 with workers saying they had not received settlement payments that were agreed to in May to resolve another labor dispute.

Bushveld declared force majeure on FeV and Nitrovan shipments from Vametco on Sept. 19, according to a source at a US steel mill. A Bushveld employee told intherightvein.com that no executives would be available before Sept. 25 to comment on whether the force majeure would remain in effect.

Customers reportedly were told they would receive allocated quantities in October but the outlook for November was uncertain. While the US imports virtually no FeV from South Africa because of the high duties, nitrovan is not subject to an onerous duty. So far this year, the US has imported 2-million lb of Nitrovan.

One US mill buyer said he was seeking to buy Chinese Nitrovan with little success. It is possible to add nitrogen to FeV at the mill but the process is inefficient and technically tricky. Vametco produced 2,649 mt of FeV and Nitrovan in 2017 and upped its capacity to 3,750 mtpy earlier this year.

Well, I have been here since October 2013 and haven't sold any. But clearly there is an entity selling given by the repeated 500k (and other) trades.

There are very few warrants left at this time so, if they are being cleared that is a very good thing! I think you will find that most LTH who know this stock and are well researched will be adding not selling! At this time it is a buying opportunity. You are right once the strike is settled the share price is going one way. Until then the share price will sit in the 25 to 27p range. But right now the company is massively undervalued and should be more than 60p as the company sits today.

So I see!

Get this strike out of the way and the share price will reflect the strongly rising Vanadium price. Until then there will always be people selling into a rise. Having said that, the large trades we are seeing suggest one of the larger holders and/or warrant holders is exiting. That will need to be cleared but strike resolution should achieve this quickly as the supply/demand balance for shares shifts.

The Price of FeV is now over 100$ per tonne and Bushveld are mining 3750 tonnes per year and the cost for mining and process is assumed at 35$ per tonne so the profits are huge. By the end of 2019 they are increasing their production to 5000 tonnes per annum
I find it incredible that more people cannot see the huge potential here.

I have introduced many people into this amazing investment opportunity which is Bushveld Minerals and explained why mining and processing vanadium has such huge potential and this is way more precious than oil or any other mineral that the world needs currently.

The Chinese have changed their rebar steel regulations and must add more vanadium to their steel and the world is waking up to Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries which will be used for energy supply smoothing and storage on global renewable projects. Most of Bushvelds Vanadium is exported to the US and they have no mines there able to supply this critical mineral

The upside is a market cap in 18 months to over 2 billion pounds is highly likely. There is detailed information on the Bushveld Perspective and Bushveld Minerals websites means that the world has no excuse not to research understand. I point everyone here. The next 12 to 18 months will see such a tremendous upside I don't think anyone who invested before March will quite believe it. Anyone investing today is likely to see a 4 to 8 times rise in the investment (for those who like percentages that's 400 to 800%!)

This is transformational for many. A stable South Africa is very important, as is a motivated workforce. These things will come as the people of that country with good leadership and confidence as they see investment in infrastructure and new jobs. Bushveld Minerals will be a significant part of that with a competent board of directors who deliver on their promises.

I really hope a swift conclusion can be negotiated for the Vametco workforce, I really hope that the mining charter conclusion will work for the future of SA and I really hope that we get the mining license for Mokopane this quarter.
Bushveld Energy Update with plans on the electrolyte plant and production of our own VRFB will certainly double our market cap from whatever the mining of vanadium produces and that means our 3 to 5 year outlook is truly phenomenal! Potentially a 3 to 4 Billion market cap.

I am invested in this company and I really am excited about our future.

Interims due by the end of this month. These will be the first financials for BMN owning 50%+ of Vametco (now 75%), so should reveal Vametco earnings for the 2018-H1 period as a subsidary business. A 2018-Q3 update will follow in Oct/Nov...

Interesting read. The public consultation on the 2018 draft Mining-Charter has received this submission from the South African Institute of Race Relations NPC (IRR). Everything they say here has of course been said many times before (successive DMR ministers have just ignored this 'legality' issue). Anyway, if only half of what is claimed here is in fact true, the 2018 charter could easily end up being stuck in courts for years to come...

This is what is still wrong with new draft mining charter - IRR

DTaliadoros,

I don't think that it has been lost per second but the presumption is that resolution will not be that far away. As such, focus has moved on to the increased stake, although there was some evidence in the price that sentiment was turning anyway owing to the resurgent Vanadium price which has by far been the most significant contributor since the Vametco purchase.

Of course, if the strike looks like it is going to be protracted then the pressure on the share price is likely to re-emerge.

ARC comment in their note today...

"...Today’s transaction takes the total consideration for 75% of Vametco to US$41.5m, less than 40% of our estimate of the (consolidated) EBITDA the operation could generate this year..."

"...Bushveld’s current share price offers compelling value, particularly given the organic growth prospects at Vametco. The transaction is similarly accretive to our sum-of-parts valuation, lifting our NAV estimate by 23% to 36p per share. The latter represents 90% upside to Bushvelds current share price, a valuation gap we believe should narrow as the Vametco expansion is further progressed over the next 12 months
and as Bushveld begins drawing up its share of surplus cash flow from the operation (which we feel today’s transaction brings a step closer)..."

sherlock2020,

I think that the implication was that the trading analysis is always looking for shorting activity when a lot of the time it can merely be explained by normal selling.

Using warrants as an example you can view these things in two ways. Either the warrants are being 'pre-sold' in the market and once complete a warrants conversion notice is submitted OR you can say that the share is being shorted with the warrants being used as a 'backstop' should the short prove unsuccessful in closing out (you need something to cover your short position). Personally, I have seen a lot of the former so tend to go with that. The latter is harder to prove. It may well take place but I would not assume that this is happening all the time with this particular share.

"...The Sojitz shareholding in SMC is acquired free from all claims, liens, equities, charges, encumbrances and adverse rights of any description, and together with all rights attaching thereto, accrued or contingent... Following completion of the transaction Bushveld, through wholly owned Bushveld Vametco Limited, will own 100 per cent of SMC and therefore have an indirect beneficial interest of 75 per cent in Vametco (increase of 15.9% from 59.1%)..."

BMN are paying £15,335,229 ($20,000,000) for the Sojitz SMC holding which is equivalent to 15.9% of Vametco. That would value 100% of Vametco = £96,447,981. Which at first glance seems an OK purchase price. Certainly could have been worse. It will look a lot better when they get this industrial wildcat strike sorted and I think Vametco needs to be quite belligerent (against those involved) in dealing with it...
