All vote for Dame Furse ex LSE for next Governor of Bank of England.

Best way to make GB go to the dogs.

guys, check out \"BHR- beacon hill\" - another excellent coal player

AGM last friday and most attended were fund managers. the outcome was positive and bhr upgraded resource within 2-3 weeks. news on funding (similar to CAZA) could come anytime now. about to bounce.

also, BHR looking for chinese buyer for potential takeover ? - see BB for more details

At the end of the day, it is an asset owner and that part of the world has to burn coal. Once the irregularities of management are addressed, and I am assuming that is the exercise taking place now, then we start having a normal company again. The market thought it was worth £4 in the EGM run up?

If, after this horrible news blackout, we the investors are told that the funds missing are not £48m but actually £500m due to ongoing contracts and potential fraud, then I am with you - we will be bull whipped.

Good luck with that one Roddyb.

I'd expect it to open much lower when it does, but we'll see.

It is just about a month since the last statement - shareholders just left in the dark, it is not right! I am disappointed the Board could not keep us more informed.

All this over £45m??? I am going to hold when we return from suspension and betting that although coal is going down in price the damage done to the company can be repaired and the share price return to an equivalent of £4 (as it was before the AGM failed coup).

On another topic, what do you thin NR is telling his co-investors during the annual Christmas card writing season? "Sorry you bought in at £17 and the shares are now worth £3 - Happy Xmas" ???

Horribly quiet on the suspension front - all the time the price of coal in Chinese markets is declining. I am hoping that the action of cleaning up the unaccounted payments will add more to the share price than the falling price of coal will detract.
At the end of the day, if you have a coalmine on China's doorstep and your costs of production are lower than other supplying countries, surely this has to be a good investment? Chinese can hardly turn off their newly built coal belching power stations - can they
