Yes, it has to be tomorrow, being the date of the AGM , presumably first thing.

Well, I hope you go along to the AGM to collect that news. I have attended this event every year for goodness knows how many years but this year I am passing on it. Just rather bored by the whole thing but, oddly enough, still hanging in there with my holdings!

Could that be mitigated by Trump's desire to get drugs approved more quickly?

Concerns about Trumps drug pricing order could act as a drag on pharma until it becomes clearer?

Schroders adding big time. Is that where Friday`s 1.9 million went eventually?

Good news indeed.

Not sure I would want to be short of BTG shares in the face of large funds like Schroders and Neil Woodford continuing to add to their portfolio positions.

Clearly, with the share price moving up 12p today on only 36,000 shares traded someone is struggling to buy stock and there ain't a lot out there.

Could this be the move which will take us up to £8 now?

£7.30 will be the chart test point and if it breaks we could go a lot, lot higher.

I know for a fact that several hedge funds have been looking to short the markets. The US tech sector has been just one example.

Some senior management have been looking to take strategic short positions with the view the level of the markets is too high.

I know it is difficult to digest, and I don't like it, but shorting shares is no different to buying them. The only difference is one never knows what price one has to pay to buy a short position back!

Yesterday's bounce in the tech markets in the US will have burnt a few fingers.

Similarly, over here funds are looking to short stocks like BTG which have had a very good run.

All sorts of tricks will be played to undermine company share prices but fundamentally once has to ask, where do you put your money when interest rates are so low and the economies of many countries are still recovering from recession.

These so called experts in senior investment management have of course been known to get markets wrong.

Will there be SHORTER'S blood on the streets?

I sincerely hope so but being old and yesterday's management, I am a bit of a cynic!! :-)

PE is more like 20 if you use core earnings, or 19 if you deduct cash. That not to bad for a company with decent growth and potential new products.

Not necessarily. The high PE is a sign of the potential that investors see and in many cases is realized. Those who bought the shares on Friday in the auction will need a rising market to sell them on unless of course it was Woodford adding to his already large holding.

The closing auction price of 663p is the clear closing price. Why do you say otherwise? We should learn in a day or two who sold the large number of shares at the close.
