Some people buy cars to make themselves look and feel good not because it serves their purpose having a big car...when you see the amount of BMWs, Mercs, Audis, Range Rovers on the roads...no idea of the mechanics or the running costs...get it on a cheap car finance/loan deals...

Well done Monty!
However your Range Rover is now worth sod all - I was going for a ‘newer’ car before the lockdown because I thought I could get it cheap, but it will be even cheaper soon.
Good news though - fuel will be cheaper but that doesn’t balance losses on oil shares.

Yes some of us oldies now will remember the SID days...seeing it go all the way to 1500p and then down to 70p and then up to 500p...and now here at 120p...remember Marconi and Cable & Wireless days?...morale of story is don't hang around...take profits...hence FTSE never makes any headways to new all time highs...

Not looked at these for along time but can anyone tell me if OFCOM has told Virgin to allow 3rd party operators to use their network? The whole point of OFCOM was to prevent BT having a monopoly and allow competition in the market place. Looking at the market cap of a number of other coms companies competition looks well over done to me.

Nothing will happen until figures. Then all hell will break loose, hopefully to the upside. Any kind of dividend will show confidence for BT.
