31/8/2018 10:53 | You two get a room please, sounds like you're both obsessed with the old chap. | mbmiah
31/8/2018 10:40 | I also noticed this Ham. You do realise Monty was a big fan of the 80's/90's TV show 'Play Your Cards Right" and in particular switching from higher to lower (and vice versa)... | toon1966
31/8/2018 08:36 | I see Monty is true to form on the IAG board. He was invested long there a week or two ago, exalting the bright future, share price going to shoot up, etc. Then, what do you know? He has obviously sold his long position and now it's doom and gloom for IAG. Badmouthing a share which you have just sold a long position on after praising it is just childish and quite nasty. | hamhamham1
30/8/2018 18:48 | China hasn't yet had (or admitted to) their first recession - Western style. Now that's going to be interesting. | hamhamham1
30/8/2018 18:17 | Bloody fantastic SP, lets hope it crashes further tomorrow. Monday is divi day and I take mine in divi’s woo hoo looking good to top up and smooth out those bad days of a high share price ...... | boytoy
30/8/2018 17:08 | The downtrend is continues. A rumour is needed to get this back on track, oh look...... | mbmiah
30/8/2018 14:18 | Both of which we need to import to a degree. | mbmiah
30/8/2018 11:54 | mbmiah, to start with food and energy. | action
30/8/2018 11:51 | Sell off overdone imo | kmann
30/8/2018 11:51 | Did you know the UK is one of germany's biggest export market for cars? and possibly other stuff, from bosch, tefal etc. Which country supports the euro project the most, financially and politically? Germany. Who has the most to lose? Germany What happens if Germany goes in to recession? Europe collapses. Who is going to call the shots in negotiations? Germany. Who has the loudest manufacturing voice in germany? The auto manufacturers. Who runs europe? BMW, VW, Mercedes, ie German industry put that in your thread! | kmann
30/8/2018 11:44 | Define self sufficient. | mbmiah
30/8/2018 10:39 | No Deal is better than Bad Deal IMHO. As a country we need to to be self sufficient. Back to BT Waiting for entry point | action
30/8/2018 09:58 | H - indeed possible. (Put it on my thread with the credit to you). | alphorn
30/8/2018 09:53 | Toon. Regarding Brexit. I think May will present the Chequers plan, the EU will present their plan, the UK will have to accept the EU plan and take it back to the government to vote on. When it gets there, the remainers will vote against (last chance to derail Brexit) and the the Brexiteers will reject it (as it will be too soft for them). What happens after that is anyones guess? Or, I guess a deal may be agreed, but I lean towards the former than the latter. Time will be against all and delays are quite likely. | hamhamham1
30/8/2018 09:39 | Monty says Vodafone is a better buy than BT... He still likes to slam for something to do, as I pointed out the other day over half the FTSE had dropped more than BT since ex-divi day. And Monty swears this share is the best short in the FTSE. | hamhamham1
30/8/2018 09:25 | I think the 200p psychology level could be tested again by the bears. | montyhedge
30/8/2018 08:25 | I am sure because Vodafone operates in so many competitive markets around the world, the next few years will continue to see a slew of mergers with local rivals or exiting (selling) to rivals. The cost of price wars and rolling out 5G in 70+ countries will be enormous. | hamhamham1
29/8/2018 15:47 | Talk on the move, bt should respond imo! Could be a violent switch back up too | kmann
27/8/2018 14:11 | is it not better giving it to bt | timmy11
27/8/2018 14:09 | TECHNOLOGY NEWSAUGUST 27, 2018 / 12:48 PM / UPDATED AN HOUR AGO Nokia secures 500 million euro EU loan for 5G development | timmy11
26/8/2018 18:10 | And every payday loan company is about to go to the wall. (regardless of the EU, and good riddance, credit unions should be made more widespread). I have heard the adverts on the radio from ex-PPI insurance claim solicitors asking you to claim back all your interest on your payday loans. These loan companies aren't like Lloyds Bank, etc, they have no resources and will fold like a pack of cards. | hamhamham1
24/8/2018 21:36 | The UK can't afford to drop the EU and vice-versa. Any other(non)agreement would be negative for either side. Unless the negotiators are so stupid let's expect a fudge to please everybody and have at least no negative consequences on the financial markets | pvee
24/8/2018 16:21 | I appreciate that's your opinion Ham, but why would I listen to you, what's your expertise in exiting the EU? | toon1966 |
