Bango PLC said Wednesday that BT Group PLC has selected the Bango Platform to deliver bundled subscription services to its customers.
Bango, an AIM-listed platform for data-driven commerce, said the first launch is with BritBox, a digital video subscription created by U.K. broadcasters the British Broadcasting Corp. and ITV PLC.
BT customers will be offered a six-month complimentary subscription to BritBox, and afterward they can choose to add the subscription to their BT plan.
"BT will deliver a range of third-party products and services to its customers through the Bango Platform and will benefit from Bango data insights to optimize the targeting of product offers to boost consumer engagement," Bango Chief Executive Paul Larbey said.
