03/5/2007 17:14 | Perhaps this winner is having a second wind, slipped over a fiver now. | wad collector
14/4/2007 21:03 | Trouble with running the Winners is that they sometimes get tired. | wad collector
05/4/2007 14:19 | Cut your Losers and run your Winners ! Or have you got anything better to put your money into? PS Unless you want to use up your CGT allowance today before the end of the tax year. | rich oneday
05/4/2007 12:24 | 500% rise in 4 yrs - time to bale out? | wad collector
21/3/2007 14:26 | market clearly seems to like the latest acquisition - shares up - now 475p | its the oxman
07/3/2007 18:28 | It looks to me like an ordinary disclosure of Directorial buying - seen that happen just before takeovers in the past! | wad collector
26/2/2007 20:47 | Can anyone explain the Director announcement on 23rd to me? Does it rule out an imminent takeover? | indomie
06/2/2007 10:41 | Unfortunately, there seem to be 50 takeover rumours for every one that materialises. However, BTSM looks a good buy and hold type stock to me. The Company is performing well and the longterm uptrend of the shareprice should continue, imho. Holding and happy. | ed 123
06/2/2007 08:49 | This last weeks rise seems disproportionate to the market generally, perhaps just bid rumours but as you say , makes sense to hold for now. | wad collector
05/2/2007 14:17 | bought (i thought poorly at the time)a holding c.430p - but believe some talk in Guardian of 650p cash bid by France's Saint Gobain. you never know it could happen | its the oxman
05/2/2007 14:01 | next leg up pushing towards 500p | its the oxman
11/12/2006 15:24 | Must have been ultra-vague talk! | dobcroft
07/12/2006 09:30 | No names were mentioned. It was a very brief comment. Probably it'll come to nothing, but I'm not ruling it out. Certainly BSS share price has been a strong performer recently. Someone's been buying at these levels. | ed 123
07/12/2006 08:31 | Did it name any names? I would think the interested parties in BSS could be Wolseley, SIG or Saint-Gobain. I doubt Wolseley would get past the Competition Commission, leaving the other two. Saint-Gobain would be my favourite. That said buying these on a PER of nearly 30 at the top of the market makes little sense, so it's probably just talk. If there were any bidders they would have shown themselves when energyi first posted and the PER was 13. | dobcroft
07/12/2006 08:08 | Nice rise yesterday. Vague talk of bid reported in The Times today. | ed 123
30/11/2006 15:01 | Hmmm.... Holding some of these ....... suddenly very popular with the market. | ed 123
30/11/2006 14:36 | certainly looking that way why oh why did i not buy some this morning then? | tillman
29/11/2006 17:21 | 2 days later it is up 30.Something happening here... | wad collector
27/11/2006 12:46 | Solid interims, but only up 1.8% - looks like the market expected pretty good results anyway.Still unimpressive yield despite todays dividend hike. | wad collector
18/9/2006 15:56 | Has anyone got an undate on btsm it seems along time since any chatting about this company ??? | jocjoc
08/3/2006 12:48 | It seems that this wants to get up and through the psychological 360p barrier, but then stops, sniffs at it, and then comes back to 340 for another attempt. Very frustrating. Any thoughts anyone? | speedieruk
30/9/2005 11:54 | Anything out today, quite a hit | tpaulbeaumont
13/6/2005 15:29 | In case you hadn't noticed, BSS is promoted into the FTSE 250 index tomorrow. | typo56 |
