17/1/2005 10:55 | pc - if you are showing your new ords at "total original cost" ....then the "cost" of your new warrants is zero. | fbrj
17/1/2005 10:50 | fbrj I changed my figures for BGY in portfolio to total new shares - old shares divided by 50 @ total original cost. That leaves me with a bid price of 271.5 showing now. Have added EPIC BGYW to portfolio because I have warrents. What do I put in there, or have I gone wrong somewhere along the line. Thanks. pc | pc4900074200
17/1/2005 10:47 | fbrj - yes that makes the warrants seem good value at current levels - they'll probably be some confusion for awhile, but both could shoot up quite quickly once it settles down. As someone mentioned MONI did a similar trick. | isis
17/1/2005 10:42 | pc - do you mean your "cost" price? | fbrj
17/1/2005 10:40 | isis - the warrants exercise price is 98p - therefore total "in" price at the moment is 183 + 98 = 281p, compared to ords trading at 271p. The 10p "premium" for 2 year punt seems slightly mispriced? | fbrj
17/1/2005 10:37 | Please help? How do I add the warrants to my Portfolio? Place BGYW EPIC in ? Add amount [2.1 x new shares] but what price do I put? Many thanks. pc | pc4900074200
17/1/2005 10:35 | cheers - High price for warrants, must have a low strike price. Nuclear Energy starting to get popular, even the Greenies agree it's one of the only options open. | isis
17/1/2005 10:34 | GSands - each situation is different but have a look at MONI when it came out of restructuring and started trading. Slight dip and then up it went. Creditors selling didn't hold it back. Also remember bgy will be back in indices so institutional money will start coming back in. | yuka
17/1/2005 10:32 | Assuming ords and warrants move in tandem...then for every 10p up or down in the new shares, that's equivalent to 0.62p per old share. | fbrj
17/1/2005 10:28 | isis - I think it's as follows: 1 x 274p = 274.0 (ords) 2.1 x 184p = 386.4 (warrants) Total 660.4/50 Equivalent to 13.21p for old shares...... | fbrj
17/1/2005 10:16 | fbrj - yes I realised same codes. The Warrants are trading at 188p then - what does this leave the old equivalent price at? | isis
17/1/2005 10:08 | Looks like a good short to me. Should be plenty of selling over the next few weeks as creditors sell stock and exit. | gsands
17/1/2005 10:06 | isis - have you looked? I think BGY and BGYW | fbrj
17/1/2005 09:35 | good question. Do u set a price or time? When are they going to sell the shares? | hightech
17/1/2005 09:29 | when is a good time to get in on these new shares ....emmmmm | alpha534u
17/1/2005 09:12 | anyone got the codes for warrants and ord please. TIA | isis
17/1/2005 09:09 | If you didn't send your forms back - your shares/warrants will be sold automatically.... "Shareholders should note that under the proposals, unless they elect to receive new shares and/or warrants by returning a form of election by 6.00pm on 13 January 2005, any new shares and warrants to which they would be entitled will be sold in the market and the proceeds remitted to them. " | fbrj
17/1/2005 09:08 | Quick question. Am I right in thinking I can trade my warrants? pc | pc4900074200
17/1/2005 09:06 | snogger They don't show on my portfolio. LOL pc :-] | pc4900074200
17/1/2005 09:04 | pc you are forgetting the warrants | snogger
17/1/2005 08:58 | what is the epic for the warrants? | fbrj
17/1/2005 08:56 | What is there to say, down by 50%+ on what it closed at. pc Edit: one word comes to mind. Rip-off. | pc4900074200
17/1/2005 08:50 | comments, opinions, ideas or whatever so far then holders? | kordeiv
17/1/2005 08:46 | Sarah You can still trade on the old cert. Divide by 50 and that is how many new shares you have. pc Edit: Or tell them how many OLD shares you had. | pc4900074200 |
