Outlook

The Board is considering how best to provide value to shareholders from the
Company's existing investments and hopes to be in a position to make a further
announcement in due course.

Dont know Papillon - got a feeling that somewhere along the way we'll see 0.5p once last time, with a bounce off that level to a more respectable 1p - 2p!

Edit: Via another share I'm into I've learned why it was that Eurogold didn't have to make an offer for the entirety of BRM once they passed 30% - apparently if your principal place of business is outside the UK, then you are not governed by the City Code on Takeovers, and thus are not compelled to make an offer for the rest of the shares.

Great for Gunzy and Eurogold cos they can just pick away at BRM whenever they like, without ever having to worry about finding the dosh to buy the rest of the company.

The BB was started by DiN007 I can't recall seeing a posting from him recently, whether he is still about or moved to pastures new I'm unsure, so he/she would only be the one able to alter/add items to the BB --- Hope that helps --- or I could be completely wrong, maybe ADVFN customer services would be able to advise further

Samtom2 - agree it would be helpful to have an RNS so that we know exactly how much BRM has invested in DRA and at what prices so that we can asee how BRM's investment is doing and what it is currently worth as things progress. Also as posted before it would be helpful to have DRA's share price chart shown on here alongside that of BRM - does anyone know if that can be done?

I am surprised BRM don't release a statement regarding DRM's recent share price movement to help their own

Blimey, DRM are 91% up on the year price. Looks like it was a good buy for BRM to stick another £2M into them in december.

BRM has 93,593,721 shares in Dra at .115A$ =£6,139,727 + £1m in the bank
BRM market cap £2.85m thus 60% disc to Nav... every 1 cent rise adds £534k odd

I think picking up BRM is a pretty obvious move, and I agree "sooner rather than later" as the DRA price begins to move... a big Swiss seller seems to have been knocked out.

Dragon up 9.52% overnight on 12.8million volume - hitting a high of 12.5cent before settling back at 11.5. Up 15% in past 3 days, and BRM reacts with a drop off yesterday.Only a matter of time before Dragon explodes and Gunzburg better get his act together quickly before he finds someone else bidding on BRM

From Hot copper
"Tanami gold (TAM) just announced a capital raising to repay their $5m loan from Eurogold.
Will EUG buy more of DRA with the proceeds?"

... Yes but by buying Brinkley surely

Can someone post DRA's share price chart on this thread so that it updates daily alongside BRM - is that possible?

FWIW today announcement. DRA Nett cash including redemption of loan notes and Long term debt stands at c 21mill aus 12.5 % of which is £1.510 plus the million in the bank £2.51 BRM market cap 3.14. Essentially our interest in all continuing operations now valued at £630,000. Since the cash flow is now extremely strong it should takeDRA less than 3 months to redress this and should BRM stick at this level and gold price remain high we shall soon have the whole thing for naught in manner of speaking.

And Eurogold used its own money this time(not ours)!

Note there have been a number of 500k and 400k buys here over the past few days.Guess whilst not exactly huge amounts of cash, someone knows a little more than we do,or indeed it may be a Gunzburg contact accumulating for a free luxury holiday in a few months time!

Your prior post - Euro have only just over 40% of BRM.If they intend to get the company on the cheap, they will fail - the remaining 60% holders will block any such move, and for their bid to succeed they need over 90% acceptance

I thought they took a much larger portion of their 40%+ at circa 1p - anyway point is that as long as Eurogold continue to show the market that they'll buy at a penny or thereabouts, BRM's share price will remain depressed whatever is or may be going on over at Dragon. By buying BRM's shares on the cheap they are effectively buying cash on the cheap (albeit much of that cash is presently invested in Dragon).

If Eurogold can buy £1 for say 50p they have no reason to stop buying £'s.

In the meantime of course we all have to sit and wait and hope something explosive happens to Dragon like a takeover offer for instance.

Cheers, CM

Chris - partly correct. However the bulk of the 40%+ has been at a price of 1.85p - the couple of extra buys were at 1p or under and from memory amounted to under a million in total

Linney - you know better than most that Eurogold have consistently shown they will buy any amount at a penny and they will continue to do so IMHO. Why should they stop? Up to now this policy of buying at or about 1p has garnered them 40%+ of BRM and since that hasn't triggered the need for a bid for the remaining shares they might as well continue buying as many as they get their hands on. Frankly I can see this policy going on indefinately

500k purchase at .9p - and no posters owning up to it - could be our friends Eurogold back to tease us with a £4.5k buy

Note the mms have not changed the bid/ask so my money is on Eurogold - but why bother with such a small reload and they have bought smaller amounts in the past(a 250k buy was their last top up rns)
