Mike111D - totally agree with you and looking forward to some interesting RNSs. The company has been collecting a lot of potential and I am looking forward to our new chap creating maximum value from it.

marab, he is IMO here for something incremental which the market has yet to updated on, will be very interesting to see what this is. Also, what pleases me is that he has no emotional attachment to specific assets and will be looking to realise maximise value from these e.g. the land sale, whilst in parallel creating new value i.e. why he is here. Interesting times ahead.

Better issuing shares at a reasonable rate than another placing. 'Further to the placing to raise £2.8 million, announced on 18 October 2012, the Company is pleased to announce that the 92,000,000 new ordinary shares' so £2.8m raised and it basically halved the NAV.

Mike it certainly looks like there could be a new game plan and I wonder if the new guy has been brought in to split the company into sectors and perhaps float one or more to raise new capital.

Gant, you raise a valid point which follows on from an earlier RNS, which presumably is where Netty is picking up on the idea of a possible demerger:

Netty, be careful what you wish for as sometimes wishes do come true and FWIW I can't disagree too much with the price that you have plucked from wherever. So yes the prospect of cancelling debt is a real one:

problem about posting about placings, some take it the wrong way ... but in this case, placing to pay off debt, it's good because it increases the NAV at a stroke, w/o too much pain ...

I think if we could shift £4m of debt inc interest for 57m shares ... that is a good deal. Haven't a clue if it will happen, but it would be good eh?

Hope it's not another placing!

Mike111D 5 Nov'12 - 13:56 - 3595 of 3624

Not on my list, unless we are talking bond conversion at a premium to the current price or possibly the sasme for a further acquisition if it were to come prior to the disposals currently in hand.

Otherwise you could always post an animated image of tumbleweed blowing across the screen - LOL.

N3tleyLucas 5 Nov'12 - 17:36 - 3596 of 3624 edit

So last conversion was for £800,000 + interest eh? 15m x 7p = £1,050,000 yes? £250,000 interest? ... ??? ffs!
So that's 31.25% interest accrued so far??? ... so on the £3.05m left? that's £953,125 interest if they'd been converted with the £800,000 yeah?

So add 'em up, ... £4m eh? at maybe 7p again? ... 57m? + 181m = 238m shares? No debt, clean eh? ... hmmm, looks ok?

Hope so Rovi. Just bought a few more.

I'm wondering if one of the interested parties is only interested in part of the development leading to their decision to divide it up as clearly they would not want to pay top dollar for the bits they are not so interested in. So if they can get different parties interested in each section the sum of the parts will be greater than the whole. The strategy RNS talks of postponing negotiations rather than them being at an end and also refers to the current offer which again suggests at least one party is still there. Time will tell but I can see the logic.
