whats the exact deadline date here for suspension?

Surely not long now before news of an investment.

The question is, will it either be:

a) as a simple investment in an asset in which BRDY expends at least half of its cash (so minimum of c£160,000), with options to acquie the entirety of said aset at a later date, and with Fist Right of Refusal clause?

b) as a RTO deal (which would result in suspension and us shareholders being massively diluted either due to consideration shares being given away to the private company vendors);

c) a LDP style investment in listed securities, merely to prevent suspension, ad give the BoD more time to find something;

d) as a)aove, but first raising funds through a Placing or taking loan notes form PRS.

Yes, same spin as last time but are they any closer to announcing a deal? Cash obviously tight, so as you say maybe PRS to the rescue, only time will time. Regards

any investment will almost certainly done with paternoster loan note, strange
that the same wording is used re investment position both yesterday and previous
results, almost certainly investment will come in the next 10 weeks either
full or by way of buying shares as zoltav did.

I don't know about "soon" but they have to carry out some trading activity before October to maintain their listing, so it's certain something will be happening within weeks. I know they have been looking at a lot of 'prospects'.

agm the 9th may , hopefully directors will get the go ahead to issue more shares
which will bring in cash or act as part of a reverse take over, all to play for
and viridas as major shareholder, I am in both so any deal will almost improve
the share price.

I don't think so. The timing was dictated by the reconstruction of Capcon (Brady's former name) and, having created the clean cash shell last October, they have up to a year to inject a suitable trading company, so plenty of time.

Still no dign of a deal, what ever prompted NL to jump in last year I do not know, you would have thought they would have lined up the first deal in that time.

Results

The audited results for the period under review show a profit on ordinary activities before taxation of GBP1.33 million and EPS of 6.4p reflecting a profit on the write-off of the intercompany balances of GBP0.25 million and a profit on the disposal of subsidiaries of GBP1.13m. The detailed results for the former trading activities are not disclosed in either the period under review or the comparative figures for the year ended 30 September 2010 as they were disposed of during the period. Net assets at 31 December 2011 amounted to GBP407,042 and cash balances at that date were GBP463,816.

The Board believes that value can be generated for shareholders through the implementation of the Company's investing policy through investments or acquisitions, or a combination of both. Such an acquisition or investment may be deemed to be a reverse takeover transaction of the Company under the AIM Rules and would therefore be subject to shareholders' approval.

Well I emailed the co tofay to ask when they expect to update the market. Worth a try. It might require a little more patience but I believe there will be fireworks soon. VIr have invested for a reason plus small no of shares in issue. Hoping we will do an LDP/LEG. GLA.

Well it's only been 3 1/2 months! There's absolutely no point in a placing unless/until they have a deal. All that would do would turn a cash shell into a bigger cash shell! Patience, mes amis.
