LONDRES (Agefi-Dow Jones)--Le groupe pétrolier BP a annoncé mardi qu'il allait diviser son dividende par deux après avoir accusé une perte de 16,8 milliards de dollars au deuxième trimestre.
BP a réduit son dividende à 5,25 cents par action, contre un dividende de 10,25 cents le trimestre précédent.
BP a comptabilisé une charge de 10,9 milliards de dollars, principalement pour dépréciation de la valeur de divers projets après la chute brutale des prix du pétrole au deuxième trimestre.
La perte hors variation du coût de remplacement des stocks a atteint 6,7 milliards de dollars au deuxième trimestre, à comparer à un bénéfice de 2,8 milliards de dollars au trimestre correspondant de 2019.
