Climate processes have very long cycles, you can't just turn them off. Coal, oil & Gas companies are not going to change anything unless governments change laws to make them. 12/11/2021 20:05 | I believe BP holds a 19.75% stake in Rosneft which has a record of paying out 50% of net earnings as dividends. So that is er um about a $425M quarterly payday? However I think BP recognises its full profit share from Rosneft in the accounts, whether or not the proceeds are received as a cash dividend. So what happens to the rest? | marktime1231 | |

10/11/2021 12:04 | A little confusing, some screens are showing ex-div as 10 Nov eg today. However, the 2 Nov announcement says ... "Dividends payable BP today announced an interim dividend of 5.46 cents per ordinary share which is expected to be paid on 17 December 2021 to ordinary shareholders and American Depositary Share (ADS) holders on the register on 12 November 2021. The ex-dividend date will be 10 November 2021 for ADS holders and 11 November 2021 for ordinary shareholders. The corresponding amount in sterling is due to be announced on 7 December 2021, calculated based on the average of the market exchange rates over three dealing days between 1 December 2021 and 3 December 2021."
