It's unable to breakout of the sideways channel. It tried the top for the fifth time so dropping to try its luck at the bottom.

Disappointing finish, looked like it was to clear 450 easily at one time. Until it was decided across the pond that it was not to be!

smurfy, I like to see the divis coming in, gives more cash to increase my holding...just a different way of trading I guess :-)
Good luck with your last buy although I don't think luck has much to do with it here unless we have another spill tragedy.

i am mainly on cash( 90%) and waiting to see how general market develops next few weeks. I am following BP, to see if I should start buying below 440p. I agree signs are there. if markets goes down sharply, while you expect defensive stocks such as BP, to be impacted but not significantly.

I sold all my equity investments today, my entire portfolio.

The Dow's trading at all time highs, the yield in US stocks is now unsustainable and Trump is going to be a disaster for the US. What goes up must come down and I'm now going to sit on cash and wait for it to happen. The warning signs are there for all to see so I'm out.

Well that's me fully out of my long trade on Bp. Nice points tally from the 440 ish to the 470 level.

I love a trade on Bp it's quite consistent.
