Sounds a load of rubbish to me.

There is no way Barclays would be sent the contents of the RNS prior to it being released to the market. So Barclays is just a smoke screen.

So why did TheBountyHunte ( total of 5 posts since 2012 all on BOX) release this info on LSE on Sunday?

Maybe someone wanted to make trouble for Boxhill. If TheBountyHunte's text was accurate that person would have to be an insider - either working for the company or one of its suppliers.

Or another guess, and more worryingly, someone wanted Boxhill to be suspended. Why suspended? Well the next step would be to have to permanently delist on this technicality: Usual rubbish - Nomad resigns - We can't get a new Nomad. Once delisted an individual or group could try and carve Boxhill up to their advantage. Also the EMEX deal might not go through as the seller may not want shares in a private company.

Throw in the Phil Jackson director info strangely timed RNS last week.

Also on Oct 7 an RNS saying annual results expected to be released in November. Then Lord Razzall sells shares on Nov 2. So the company can't release its results until Jan 2 - AIM listing rules - at the earliest so forcing a break with its early Oct 7 guidance.

It's doesn't necessarily mean the leak has come from BOX, there's other companies/ ppl involved GLA

Happy new year

This week should be a key week for Box in terms of news flow.

Expecting more information on the emex acquisition and potential impact on business going forward;
Annual results - not expecting any surprises from recent rns on results;

Forward guidance - this will be key - several major unknowns and impact on roll-out of new partnership accounts should accelerate growth - 1 new customer a week, without adding to cost base significantly. We could see top line growth falling substantially to the bottom line.

we were told that H2 performance was better than H1 and hence confirmation of this trend into 2016 should put a light under the potential under-valuation.

I remain bullish but the next rns or two should underpin some of the more racy forecasts.

Casino cash roll-out may be a 2016/17 contributor, but update will be key as a future value generator.

That is better, another small rise early in the morning, and paying full offer on the last trade, is looking more encouraging

Level 2 has gone better on the bid side also as there is 3 MMs at bid for 2 at offer

Are the shares ready to move higher again?

They tried earlier but did not last the move up on the bid, buyers are paying higher price than last week almost full offer, after a good size buying trades.
wonder why SCAP move up to 0.32p and then down again at 9.13am.
Maybe at 10.13am will be the clue

Not quite the direction I was expecting the share price to go.Generally a favourable RNS,must be those few extra shares to be issued that are causing a bit of consternation.Still think it is game on here though.GLA

answer: Once you agreed a no. of shares 400m then there is no need for a price to be issued

But you can imagine it was calculated at around the price of the day before of around 0.40p to give a value to the company bought EMEX, in this case ...
400M X 0.40p = £1.6M price paid.

If you are going to invest in box the first thing to do is get down your local casino .... And then think about a few gambling basics. Then you can crunch a few numbers and decide if box is a buy or sell. Personally I'm not comfortable with the impending dilution combined with razzles continual unwinding of stock ... Maybe the results will surprise me ?

Michaelmouse what's your view? I am staying away as not enough clarity on transaction, huge number of shares expanding even more, governance issues around reporting, chairman selling. I also struggle to understand how the reported transaction levels might convert into profits so can't really understand what growth levels are like.

Mike,

I guess today's price reaction to very positive news reflects:

1 Sell on any news traders
2 T-Traders exiting anyway with their small profits
3 MMs moving prices down once sell volumes went over their pre defined limits
4 Risk of 400m shares coming (ie 25% dilution) if new owner is a seller at any price

Fundamentals non existent where MM pricing is concerned so it's down to sells v buys for them. Buyers returning slowly but no reaction yet.
