28/9/2021 20:39 | after reading the above article again and having a look on the oil and gas price development i guess there was never a better time to negotiate and sign the etinde fid. i wouldn't be surprised if the fid comes by end of Q4 this year. | buy_more
23/9/2021 22:42 | and this one, better... | buy_more

18/9/2021 19:05 | Given Etinde only need an oil price of $20-$25 to be economic it will defo go ahead with the oil price of $75 currently. FID news Q1 next year. | rayfenn
18/9/2021 18:30 | Snazzy video on the website showing FEED design. Maybe this has legs and we will see FID one day. Agree very binary at this point, does seem that Chinese might take it to production though. | gark
17/9/2021 15:51 | All depends on the FID for Etinde. | rayfenn
17/9/2021 14:20 | And down again, not sure about this one. Will 2022 be the year or will this just die a death? Views? | gark
10/9/2021 11:42 | A rayfenn health warning - until removed from there, under RF68, he had been all over the LSE VOG board hyping that share. | warbaby43
09/9/2021 21:13 | Shows positive development, finance will be key here so hopefully they are making good progress on that front. | gark
09/9/2021 17:36 | The new cement plant will take gas from Gaz Du Cameroun a subsiduary of VOG. It would only use 0.5 mmscf/d of gas | rayfenn
09/9/2021 17:09 | Some interesting pieces seen over on LSE: With regard to the latter piece, if accurate and depending on its size, a cement plant is a very intensive energy user so could possibly be a destination for more Etinde gas | warbaby43

27/7/2021 12:24 | With all the different metrics being used, tons, cu ft, cu meters etc, herewith a couple of useful sites for converting, with the Iowa State one being particularly comprehensive and helpful: | warbaby43

25/7/2021 14:13 | Thanks, always good to get your thoughts, been a while here and was questioning whether I should have got out when special dividend was paid. If there is a reserves increase and we look good for FID this should be way up on where we are now. Fingers crossed. | gark
25/7/2021 12:24 | "This still come good?" Yup, I believe so gark especially as there do appear to be gas destination solutions and after looking at what was said in the Interims regarding the seismic reprocessing it would be most surprising if later this year we didn't see a re-rate of the asset back to close to or even at 300m boe. "Timing Q1 2022?" - no chance! Were Ladbrokes to be offering even 20/1, I still wouldn't stick a quid on it. NA have form here - if you go back to the 2019 AR, penultimate para of Operating Review on p13, NA were then predicting FID in Q1 2020. Our Eli is saying only 2022 in the Interims, and if you go the last para of the FEED section part of the Operations Review on p5 some of the hurdles to be overcome are set out there and with lawyering and documenting involved no chance of all that being done in nine months especially with the central involvement of SNH and the government. Perhaps, FID sometime in 2022 but as progress towards it is made, reasonable to expect some stake building and step jumps in the share price | warbaby43
24/7/2021 13:06 | What's your view Warbaby? This still come good? Timing Q1 2022? | gark
24/7/2021 11:42 | From the BLVN point of view, aren't the central points that Golar wants to see Episeyo's 4 train capacity used rather than just the two currently shipping, and that the Golar/Perenco contract terminates in 2026 which just happens to coincide with the NA envisaged start of Etinde Phase 2. Where the Episeyo is currently moored is c 130km from Etinde and after the amount having to be reserved for domestic generation (what domestic generation being a perfectly fair question!) it is extremely doubtful that there is sufficient gas left available to make constructing a pipeline of that length viable. On the other hand, at the end of the contract with Perenco in 2026, should Episeyo be moved northwards by Golar to a point to be able service both the Perenco acreage and Etinde, then the BLVN JVP will almost certainly have a a viable and probably preferable alternative to Marathon's Punta Europa and Golar will see rather more of the Episeyo's capacity brought into use. That would certainly be less "politically challenging" to quote Our Eli, and avoid the necessity of an inter governmental agreement between EG and Cameroon necessitating a negotiation unlikely to take less than 12 months. | warbaby43
24/7/2021 00:17 | Perenco has a website here hxxps://www.perenco. | ham74
23/7/2021 18:24 | The development plan talks about first phase condensate production with reinjection of the gas followed by a second phase where LNG is exported or sold into the domestic market. I think condensate production will be easier and of more value in the first instance. | gark
23/7/2021 14:08 | the actual problem is that cameroon wants to save a certain amount of gas for the domestic market while the jv partners would profit more if it could be exported from the second link... Golar previously said it held talks with Perenco and SNH to increase output to full capacity utilizing all the trains. But this will probably not take place any time soon due to the depressed market caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. | buy_more
23/7/2021 12:52 | And a bit about the four train Episeyo, only two trains of which are being utilised Episeyo is currently moored approximately 130km (81 miles in real money) south of Victoria/Limbe | warbaby43 |
