23/7/2021 14:08 | the actual problem is that cameroon wants to save a certain amount of gas for the domestic market while the jv partners would profit more if it could be exported from the second link... Golar previously said it held talks with Perenco and SNH to increase output to full capacity utilizing all the trains. But this will probably not take place any time soon due to the depressed market caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. | buy_more
23/7/2021 12:52 | And a bit about the four train Episeyo, only two trains of which are being utilised Episeyo is currently moored approximately 130km (81 miles in real money) south of Victoria/Limbe | warbaby43
22/7/2021 18:38 | major producers realise a net profit of between $0.05 and $0.25per litre fuel (gasoline/diesel), depending on the region/country/taxes etc. that should generate a beautiful dividend every year in case blvn joins the jv partners to production. that for sure is interesting to know re a potential take over. blvn for sure do not have to sell their stake too cheap. | buy_more
22/7/2021 14:58 | Probably an IRR ( internal rate of return ) of 15 - 20% for a West African energy project I would say, maybe we should ask them to confirm? | ham74
15/7/2021 15:51 | i am still asking myself how much they plan to generate with the etinde prospect if they are prepared to invest $1.4billion? anyone? | buy_more
15/7/2021 12:39 | that happens regularly | dealy
15/7/2021 11:16 | I am pretty sure spread bet firms would ask for 100% margin on Bowleven. But if people hold it in the same account as other stocks that are on say 20% margin, 5 times leverage, then a margin call on the other stuff might force them to sell some Bowleven? | ham74
15/7/2021 10:48 | what amazes me is that we are talking about investment costs of appx USD 1.4billion and our actual market cap with our stake of 25% in this project is roughly GBP 13million. You are right gark, anyone can move the price here in any direction at the moment. | buy_more
15/7/2021 10:28 | Was flagged as Q1 2022 earlier in the year and this article provides some confidence that it will move forward. This share is totally illiquid so if you want to sell any it moves dramatically. Will be dead until we get FID so hopefully this will recover once we do. | gark
15/7/2021 10:26 | David Peel was speaking during an online oil&gas summit which took place July 13-15. - FID Q1 2022 - 10 wells in shallow water and 2 wellhead platforms in the first phase - development costs appx USD 1.1billion for phase 1 - aim to maximise condensate production with focus on reinjecting gas - start of production Q2 2024 - in phase 2 gas will be exported via LNG facilities in Eq. Guinea - costs for the 2nd phase will be appx usd 300million | buy_more
15/7/2021 09:57 | Its slipped because its delay after delay after delay.... Probably be delayed in 2022 as well... | d1nga
15/7/2021 09:54 | It is reassuring to hear New Age targeting 1Q 2022 for FID. Seems strange that the price has slipped on this positive news. Volumes are relatively high - 600,000 yesterday and the same again already this morning. I guess somebody who needs to sell is dragging down the bid. | ham74
15/7/2021 07:54 | Can you paste the article for those who are not subscribers - or summarise key points? | ham74
07/7/2021 14:33 | Obviously not that bit. The conceptual field development scenario diagram has changed since I screen shot it last year. I did say.....for what it was worth! | nufckk
07/7/2021 13:12 | you mean this part was updated? ...with the aim of agreeing development concept selection with all stakeholders during 2019/2020. A Final Investment Decision is expected by early 2021, with first production envisaged in 2023. | buy_more
07/7/2021 12:56 | For what it is worth, the New Age website has been updated | nufckk

24/6/2021 16:09 | You are so right Warbaby. The only thing standing in the way of the Etinde development now is said to be commercial and regulatory negotiations. Good luck with that. I've been in here many years and accept that it will be a good few more before we see monetisation realised. | ctc1
07/6/2021 12:02 | From the context, looks rather more like works to the existing oil powered generating plant. Given the pace that the Cameroon government moves, impossible to believe that it would be referring to the new 350 MW plant given that they went out for expressions of interest only a year ago. Now over two years, and very possibly over three years, that the toing and froing over the Aksa project has been going on without any contract being signed. It's West Africa! | warbaby43
06/6/2021 21:21 | Limbe power station - courtesy of Happy Sparrow on LSENoticed this comment on page 5 of Eneo's stakeholder bulletin : https://eneocameroon | gark
27/5/2021 19:18 | I'd be happy if those were filled. Problem is oil will no longer be used once they get this going at the current rate of progress! | gark
27/5/2021 12:59 | warbaby, that's true about "world class"! ;-) looking at the charts I have identiefied the following gaps that could/should be filled (see also post 19138). 31 July 2018 gap a 40ish 15 Aug 2018 gap @ 34ish 16 Jan 2019 gap @ 30ish 29 Mar 2021 gap @ 5.70ish | buy_more |
