16/8/2018 09:59 | pj.......how would kev have made a difference to this drill, dug down with a spade himself and altered the strata formation? also you do realise BLVN are not the operator right? do you remember he said $15mil for bomono and then spent $90 mil making it commercially un-viable? also why would BLVN go into receivership when they have no debt and over $80 in cash with millions more on the way?.........answers on a postcard please!!!! | welshki
16/8/2018 09:47 | I always said Bring Back KEV!!! Maybe he will buy them out of receivership | pjj71
16/8/2018 07:49 | Warbaby43 and Oilretire thank you makes sense. | yasrub
16/8/2018 07:44 | Yasrub, my guess is partly to do with wanting further initial log analysis completed? | oilretire
16/8/2018 07:27 | Big buyer out there! | p@
16/8/2018 07:27 | YASRUB - getting ducks in row, sorting out diaries, liaising with New Age, especially over what can be said re 310s etc? Am a little surprised it's as early as next Tuesday. | warbaby43
16/8/2018 07:21 | Managed Pressure Resources Ltd (MPR) are pleased to announce the opportunity to support NewAge (African Global Energy) in its E&P business in Cameroon. MPR will provide Managed Pressure Drilling support and execution on a two well appraisal campaign in the Etinde field. The appraisal program aims to further improve the already robust economics for future development of this world class asset and MPR openly welcomes the opportunity to provide their expertise to the project. We look forward to enabling safe and efficient drilling operations and assisting to provide optimized well delivery.” | hazydaisy
16/8/2018 07:19 | Does anybody follow why there is to be a conference call next Tuesday, why not sooner if about yesterday's news ? | yasrub
16/8/2018 07:14 | Isn’t it amazing how we drop from 42 to 29 on no change of resources? Who orchestrated this and why. Think we know. Good day in the office for MM . Best news for them as it’s neither good nor bad, take it down, bring it back up on a whim. | symbo1
16/8/2018 07:11 | Is it going to be the following; we didn’t understand what was down at those deeper levels when we sold but a few months on new age have confirmed another massive find now that they’ve bothered to analyse it. Yeh, like you didn’t already know. But heh at least you picked up etinde for a song. That is a typical scenario of what could happen. | symbo1
16/8/2018 07:04 | Going to be interesting to learn more about the extent of what was discovered down at and below 3,375m and what/when any follow ups might be. BTW, do any of the other "laymen" find it curious that in view of the known very high pressure/temperature environment, what was encountered down at those depths was beyond the well design's ability to cope? | warbaby43
16/8/2018 06:32 | I think the $15m has been paid. | loglorry1
16/8/2018 06:08 | 15m also received on completion of Appraisal- some consolation | bigsi2
16/8/2018 06:02 | Looks like a fun day was had on this bb yesterday. Nice of blvn to drop an after hours rns. As for Diane, she struck gold while we got water Consolation in the second drill and the cash reserves | glawsiain
15/8/2018 23:56 | Hello ‘Diane’. I called this quite well, without your alleged local contacts. No respud (logical), water wet in certain targets. Here is my historic post: “Gark This is a high temp and very high pressure well, pressure kick is very possible; could lead to abandonment of the well and respud. This is complex stuff! Expensive as well.... NOTHING is ever ‘a no-brainer’ in this realm. Sometimes you get an opp to sweep the shelf clean of shares in AIM and then offload and that is great, personally never hold large qty’s during actual well ops, too risky!” IE, oh IE yipedity dipetedy dee xx | gunsofmarscapone
15/8/2018 22:14 | It's a tough one to take and tomorrow will not be pretty. They are looking for potential upside from having a go at IE-4 and having found OWC the calculators can come out. I would imagine COC will want to monitise as soon as possible, and the HSBC stake is a bit of a mystery - who is behind that ? The earlier post of valuation around 50p seems down to earth and realistic - just a thought that is £170m - there is cash of approx $80m with $25m on FID to come. I doubt New Age or Lukoil would want another partner - so talking might start soon - I shall see how COC play this. | yasrub
15/8/2018 21:59 | nicobellic Totally agree, unlike the COC & the ii'S we are not in possession of the big picture so the end game could turn up at a time when we least expect it. | slipanchor3
15/8/2018 21:54 | Slip Anchor was a decent racehorse. You have all the brains of a donkey fella. | dianecarberry
15/8/2018 21:50 | My real name is Diane Carberry. Then you'll know what a DH is all about, won't you. | slipanchor3 |
