amazing how the crooked ocean defenders distort the truth in attempt to defend the shocking mismanagement of the company since they took the helm.. Fact 1 they ousted KH and the board when the stock was nearing 36p... the stock has since tanked 20%. Fact 2 the oil price has rocketed since they took control... Which ever way you look at the Facts, they have destroyed shareholder wealth on par with KH but against a backdrop of a massive recovery in the oil market... Time for an EGM to get them booted...
And what ever happened to the boiler shop scammers who even set up a website to support crooked ocean?? exactly they have vanished.. SCAM,,,

Winnet.
How can you seriously compare YEARS of KH with MONTHS of CoC and make such a ludicrous comparison?
Happy New Year!

Very much look forward to a special Divi...rather than fund some racehorse...and, as you pointed out, he still holds over 3 million are shares if he was so down on COC perhaps he would have sold.

I suspect KH would love a special divi

Ilk of Ego

How the Ego doth so love
to cling to such Negativity-
to fester in such irk and ire:
to spawn more of such ilk.

Schadenfreude knows no greater love!

PJ71 & winnett

Might I remind you that the reason COC (like them or not is irrelevant)are here is down to the complete failure of KH to provide shareholder value. Simplyput he has been a disaster as a CEO. Could I remind you that he hired a sub standard drilling rig for Bomono, the well's were never drilled deep enough & we had a massive overspend on the project. In addition the result's were withheld from us as they were so dire.

The man (&the rest of the BoD at that time) proved themselves to be hapless, if they'd done their job correctly then we wouldn't be in this situation. Mind you, with the salary he commanded he may have acquired a few more gee gee's if he hadn't been found out.

Good article oil retire. Very interesting. Wish others of this platform were more constructive and respecting this forum for giving us shareholders some proper insights. Clearly NA are wedded to the Chinese given they are the key drivers at both end of the spectrum. If FID is intended for Etinde in 2018 we need more clarity of what vessel is being commissioned is the tender process is now complete? Where does Bowleven sit w.r.t the midstream business? I don't know why the Chinese don't buy a stake into Bowleven to given them more negotiation leverage. Does anyone know if any such smaller scale new build FLNG vessel are operational? Particularly if it processes rich gas fields? How does NA factor in that the liquids will fund the upstream costs.
