06/2/2020 08:30 | (I should probably add that though I am new on here I've been a shareholder for some time) | perroverde
06/2/2020 08:28 | Thorny River/Marsfontein is clearly and rightly a priority for the moment - hence the drills which they hinted may take place this month (and the placing partly to pay for them). It's been a long-held and strong belief that there are other rich targets around the Marsfontein M1 1998-2002 mine area. Until now they were difficult to locate/prove, but with new tech and Subterrane's assistance persistence may well (and hopefully!) now pay off. M1 yielded huge results for Debeers/Southern Era (1.826m carats from less than 1m tonnes) in a very short space of time (4 day payback and 2 years mining) back in the day. We'll also hopefully shortly hear how EDC are getting on with the gravels and old stockpiles at M1 which will provide additional cashflow for BOD. There's no rush with Sunland for the moment imo. | perroverde
06/2/2020 08:20 | They should consider going deep underground to the source of bigger rocks at marsfontein pit and call it a "mine" again. | demonboy
05/2/2020 20:20 | Prospecting Licences PL232 and PL235, held by the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary Sunland Minerals (Pty) Limited, have been renewed for an additional two years to 30 September 2021.Not long left for this to expire better hurry up and get digging boys. | demonboy
05/2/2020 20:06 | Or a joint broker ..that makes 2? For what reason. | demonboy
05/2/2020 20:05 | Back in 18/7/19...placing to raise funds.Back in 5/8/19...change of advisor.Same process again. Wtf. | demonboy
05/2/2020 18:39 | Well unless you like dressing up like a boy scout and wandering around the veldt that is ;-) | fairlight
05/2/2020 18:36 | The last placing and the one before were both done at no discount to the s/p, BOD has to be the most carefully run AIM company - the only expense is JC and I am sure his salary will be covered as well as running expenses by the tailings this year - the placing was mainly for the forthcoming drilling at Thorny River IMO and that could add millions to the MC if successful. BOD is certainly no lifestyle company! | fairlight
05/2/2020 18:18 | So did I but they did warn that they may need to raise a few more pounds in the last report before Christmas, so fundraising wasn’t unexpected, Hope though we will see the end of that soon, or if so at much higher prices! | elmfield
05/2/2020 16:59 | Hold on here ...I thought that the sales of Diamonds from marsfontein tailings would be sufficient, so there was no need to raise any more. | demonboy
05/2/2020 16:52 | It has been a long wait elmfield, but there are several things happening soon which excite me - top right now is Thorny River, but there are a few projects which could add to the MC this year without TR. The JV with VAST could provide decent revenues along with the tailings from Marsfontein. Sunland could sorted with the Botswana gov., with BOD getting a larger share Hopefully new BIG JV partner for Orapa in Botswana And probably other stuff as well they have many projects on the go.. MC is £4 mil most shs are held by LTH any decent news and the share price will seriously increase. | fairlight
05/2/2020 16:26 | Hope you are right!Been a long wait. | elmfield
05/2/2020 16:09 | IMO there have has been buying recently as they are probably going to drill Thorny River this month and it's potentially a company changer. They have 5 targets lined up and have done a lot of work on this project already - there is a guy from Subterrain out there who has the equipment to look through the Dolerite cap and find the potential diamond bearing kimberlite pipes underneath. They seem to be very positive about it. There is a load of info on the BOD website and JC has been tweeting recently about it - he states in this video he is looking for the next Marsfontein - you know the diamond mine which paid back all costs in 3.5 days with total revenues of $245 mil over 2 years - that would be a company changing discovery! | fairlight
05/2/2020 15:29 | Could be, have to wait and see | nasarsaddique
05/2/2020 15:27 | Maybe it's for Zimbabwe JV. Just my guess. | demonboy |
