It's ironic that all ex De Beers management that are working elsewhere within organisations are exploring at previous sites mined by De Beers.

To extend the life of the mines, mining companies are digging deeper to the source, bigger the diamond closer to the source you are. Big diamonds don't move as much as Small ones which move with water and rock rubble.

if it hadn t been for the financial crash...AFD as was would have got te funding for the development of AK6.

Lucara nicked it for peanuts, one diamond praxctically covers the purchase and construction cost.

Looks like BOD are kicking themselves about Lucara finding them huge diamonds from the mine that sold to them.
