A statement from James Campbell.."We gave the original African Diamonds shareholders a 25-fold return on investment, plus shares in Botswana Diamonds. As an exploration company, we will look to undertake technical studies to develop the projects in readiness for commercial production, and should there be interest from investors to commercially develop the project, then we would sell; otherwise, Botswana Diamonds itself would consider becoming a miner," states Campbell. And I don't want to hear a comment from Lippee and fenners66 . Unlesss they agree on these comments posted, only found on the www from the directors of BOD. You can write all the negative comments and find a email to the company.

Fenners66 I am new to BOD and just like to to research on the company from where they were when left AFD to become BOD. I held in AFD since 2002 and now with BOD hoping to see the same happen some day with CLON CON and BOD.

With metal prices rising and new opportunities rising in South Africa, many companies besides BCL are apart from diamonds mining PGMs. Maybe BOD want to acquire assets of BCL or piecemeal from them. Or they have come across PGMs while mining diamonds South Africa is known best for. Mr Teeling is already mining gold and other metals in CON ,(connemara)in Ireland. Which would make sense to take advantage of the region.

At the end of the day it looks like the shareholders responded to the RNS and the recent price rise by .... hitting the sell button.

"The results to date after three years of work are encouraging. Excellent anomalies have yielded little when drilled."

Hang on encouraging and yielded little when drilled?

I did not know these bits

"In joining BOD he brought with him the Vutomi projects; Thorny River, Ontevreden and 6 prospecting rights in the Free State Province"

"On 6 February 2017 the Group entered into an Option and Earn-In Agreement with Vutomi Mining Pty Ltd and Razorbill Properties 12 Pty Ltd (collectively known as 'Vutomi'), a private diamond exploration and development firm in South Africa. "

How do those 2 statements go together?

This looks promising :-

"In recent times there has been a significant improvement. A long bull market on the stock exchange has given investors renewed confidence. The commodity cycle has turned upwards with prices of many metals showing significant rises. New opportunities have also arisen."

Oh! Then he says that despite a years long bull market and significant commodity rises ......

" companies are unable to pay the ongoing costs and/or spend money on exploration. "

REALLY !?

You build it up.

Only to say that they cannot raise money and are going broke - at least that's how I interpret "unable to pay ongoing costs"......

Well that's ok because BOD is making a fortune ...... oh no its not making a bean ....
So that will mean it has to raise more equity then and buy assets from the companies that couldn't "pay the ongoing costs and/or spend money on exploration" - err because ??

So market conditions are exceptional - "A long bull market" "prices of many metals showing significant rises"

Except that he's forgotten this is supposed to be diamond mining ? So metal price rises are not going to help diamond miners - in fact as they probably use metal in their business its arguable that it will add to costs - oops.

Must make allowances though after all there are other companies associated with this one it must be hard to keep up with all the projects.

Thought I would re-read the RNS - no the real one released by the co, not all those speculative articles

Obviously its written from the standpoint of trying to explain that despite never having made a sale this company has to defend where all that shareholder cash has gone and arguably where the next lot is going.

In the absence of any sales/profit figures a good story is going to help, so the narrative is important to get right.

People a bit nervous now, not sure if news will be out before end of year on the size of the resource? I believe we will have a good idea before the A G M on the 30 th Nov. Some sales this week will be Irish selling to pay tax by 15th Nov, I bought more today and feel quite relaxed, so there?

I strongly think that BOD will get the Botswana government involved to retain the BCL interest in Maibwe. As BOD are the only ones exploring in Botswana . After almost 3 years of exploring and research with the partners backing as well. If my calculations are correct , correct me where applicable , 15% of $1.9 billion equals to $285 million. Now that's something you cannot lose.
