Good afternoon GOM.

Yes, UKEF support for SEALION would be a game changer for the FIG, RKh , PMO and, down the line; ARG.
There is so much that the NFB has to offer. We have SEALION phase 1, then phase 2 and as DURRANT ( PMO CEO) said , he believed there would be multiple phases of development in the NFB.

Would not be surprised if BOR got a lift from SEALION good news. But, will their acreage be any closer to development?

Since Noble walked away from ARG, PMO are the only biggish company in play now.

They have a lot of cheaper opportunities in the NFB for decades.

Trouble is; the O & G age is, VERY slowly, heading towards its twilight days.

I think BOR has missed the boat and its field will have to remain unexploited.

Well BOR spent approximately 200milloon pounds so far on drilling and 2d and 3D surveys
I would think 2d and 3D surveys would cost up to 50 million
Why would a potential buyer wish to do them all again

Cyan Good Morning,

The overview is that if Ukef support the Sea Lion project then the message is, the UK Govt support the F.I in their offshore mineral resource exploitation. In that sense Sea Lion is the latchkey project.

None of this has anything to do with finance, the project has massive latent value, it’s all about politics, governance and security.

Good morning GOM.

You wrote;

" if Ukef do support the project and I have to say that is in my view unlikely then Bor will go North."

That reads like you are refering to a BOR application for UKEF. I have not read anything to the effect that BOR have applied. BOR needs a partner first and that's not looking promising.

RKH and PMO JV are looking for UKEF for SEALION in NFB . PMO's ceo seems optimistic as to finance being forthcoming there.

30% spread on BOR is very large.

The september 2017 22 million dump surprised many and was at a discount to the prevailing price. What would anyone get NOW IF they wanted to off load similar quantities? A lot lot less than a penny imo.

Will have to see Cyan, if Ukef do support the project and I have to say that is in my view unlikely then Bor will go North.

Unfortunately many of the BlueKippers, Francois etc have deluded themselves into an outdated sense of colonialism. That we can pitch up anywhere in the world and mine resources for our own benefit with zero consequences.

What is left of our great union in five years time will need trade deals worth billions within a harmoniously diplomatic environment.

The institutional holders must be very disappointed. So many shares. How on Earth can they move so many, IF they wanted to sell.

I remember a huge 22 million dump for 1p in September 2017 . I guess they just have to hold and hope against hope.

The chart really does look grim, absolutely no news or positive vibe anywhere and radio silence from the company, such a shame as the asset is almost world-class.
One very small positive is that any good news (not that there seems to be any chance of that the way things are looking) could make this (and i haven't heard this term for a long time....) 'multi-bag' !!
As it stands the BOR holding i have is what i class as one of my CGT limiters !

Plan B
Has to be a sale of the company or Darwin along with its 2d/3D seismic information
Has to be worth something to someone
Even if a buyer wasn’t interested in recovering the oil now, they may wish to hold the asset

Hey Gus, as an equity investor I consider it critical to view a holding from all sides. It’s not a popular approach but it does seem to work.

Surely provided we maintain civility and respect then free speech is a good thing?

They should defer their salaries. After all these years they have had more than enough. They should only receive anything if they successfully do a farmout deal.

GOM,i wasnt going to post till 5p but thought i would do at 1.35p instead.Bloody hell you are so negative, now i know you are a biggish holder but your comments are strange to say the least.

You are actively deramping our investment.Very very strange.

Whoppy is kind of right,Falklands are a red line that will never be crossed, regardless of the Southern American co-op who are in the main, all bankrupt anyway.

Patience eh,one substance that many do not have...

See you again at 5p......

All the best

Yes. There are some companies showing interest but it is very slow and although BOR have a cracking asset to their name the financial position means they are weak in any negotiation but the flip side is they have Darwin condensate and plenty of upside exploration. All depends how interested a partner is. RKH/PMO drilling may help, birds of a feather flock together.

Quite honestly I have never read such a concentrated stream of twaddle. HM Govt announced the removal of HMS Endurance prior to the war and only ever deployed one RM troop. It was the enroulement handover alone which allowed for two troops in situ. The Argentinians played a blinder with the South Georgia operation, drawing away one of those troops: dispatched by Governor Hunt at the behest of Whitehall. The remaining troop did their duty but were gravely deficient in fighting power.

The South Atlantic was no greater a strategic area of interest then as it is now. I suggest you remove all your sub surface related posts by the way.

No more posts from me.
