Villarich, this is a public bb and everyone can post, the good the bad and the ugly.

Now, if we went to a paid service were only those who paid were able to post....

Not on edge at all Guru. Just a bit bored of seeing you namecheck me in every post despite me not interacting with you for weeks. The fact you can't leave me out your posts suggests your state of mind is way more imbalanced than mine. I just can't understand why you spendYour days wondering how I'm feeling about the price action. Take the hint, I'm just not into you. As for the quarter mil, that's in the bank dear. Bought, sold, banked. Ticking over in my SIPP with the rest of my pension earning a steady 4% a year in bonds. One doesn't want to give too much to the tax man given current lifetime allowances and another 20 years until I can get my hands on it. I have so little skin in the game here now that if it goes to zero then I couldn't give a flying. As I said before. All the best. I hope you manage to keep those £100 trades ticking over.

You seem on edge again villa. Judging by the way you talk the chance of you making a quarter of a million on this share is as genuine as your state of mind.

Oh and final response to you - if you think getting it right is making a few hundred quid here and there, and getting it wrong is making a quarter of a million on one trade is wrong...then I'll take being wrong every time. All the best. Please refrain from mentioning me in any of your posts that have nothing to do with me.

christh,
I think this pattern is being driven by algo trading, not by 'value'.
If I am right then fundamentals are neither here nor there because algos are trend following/making.
I shall be following the graph to try and spot a trend change in order to buy some trading shares, rather than trying to anticipate a turning point.
If I call it right I shall then try to find a selling point to get my money back plus some free shares.
If I call it wrong I am content to hold the shares until I am right.
This tactic has so far got me 650 free shares, and is a bit of fun.
With these tactics I am hoping for further falls on my second biggest holding. 😊

I love Boohoo and everything about it.

I do feel with the way things are at the moment that the risk premium for holding Boohoo shares is higher than in the past therefore for me to buy now I would only consider at around 170p / 180p.

Upside over the next few months is limited in my opinion and any slight slip up with numbers and the markets will crucify the share price

Too much risk / not enough reward in the stockmarkets at the moment.

Cash is King until theres a China / US trade deal AND Brexit is resolved.

Christh, my only shortness is in my stature..... i still hold a few at no cost but sold most at the high of 243p.
This has been the trend for boo and would be (plesently) surprised if we get a decent rise in share price before Christmas or after the sales. Mho.

what a load of bullocks from this dubious character

Retailers
Meanwhile, Jon Hudson, manager of the Premier UK Growth fund, likes the disruptors. “Discounters, such as B&M (BME), have historically benefited from when the consumer is squeezed,” he explains. “And, whilst more discretionary, we’d also expect online fast-fashion retailer Boohoo (BOO) to outperform peers as consumers ‘trade down’.”

In the UK, there are homegrown disruptors. As well as the looming presence of the US giants, domestic offerings such as ASOS (ASC) and Boohoo (BOO) continue to see rapid sales growth.

However, Boohoo (BOO), which reports on Tuesday, swiftly reassured investors it was trading “comfortably”. As a result, many commentators decided it was more than likely an ASOS-specific issue.

I actually think anything under 215 is a good long term investment, but for now external factors are in focus. Brexit fears are back with an unclear view from Boris.
PE is still high here, but John Lyttle is a credible guy. I do think he will identify the environmental issues and areas of expansion (USA particularly).

Villa claimed to hold half his original amount and ready to buy again after good results. I have no doubt that he is sick that I said it would go lower. Probably banging his head against his padded room!

This fall is not that great in my opinion.

The 50 day SMA is about 200 and the 200 day SMA about 150. The two year graph puts it in perspective.

BOO is 16% of my portfolio and my net cost is 50p.

I have sold and bought back these oscillations a few times and expect to do so again.

From this perspective, and because I have confidence in the company, I welcome weakness this far from results.

As you say "Good luck to all holders"

Calculating a fund's NAV is simple: Simply subtract the value of the fund's liabilities from the value of its assets, and then divide the result by the number of shares outstanding.
To figure out a fund's total assets, we add the market value of all securities held by that fund to its total cash and cash equivalents.

What is price to NAV?
By Investopedia Staff. Updated Mar 11, 2019. Net asset value (NAV) represents a fund's per share market value. This is the price at which investors buy ("bid price") fund shares from a fund company and sell them ("redemption price") to a fund company.

American Idiot
hi,
long time to hear from you.
I thought you made your millions and retired in an exotic place...
But you are probably a millionaire by now.

I do expect a good recovery as this is crazy, it has fallen below its NAV,
the fundementals have been ignored and it has been overtaken by madness of selling and making a quick profit.
But bear in mind many shorters have become destitute, Be very careful as the volatility works both ways and never expected.

I am of the opinion that this will rocket maybe this week or next week.
Perhaps another Director will Buy or another institution will Buy and push the price upwards.
At the moment the word is Volatility but also a great opportunity to pick stock at a very cheap price.

Good luck to all holders
