18/6/2018 08:08 | Funding finally confirmed at Koovs (LON:KOOV)It was priced to fail, but ex ASOS boss Lord Waheed Alli has finally done it!Hardman & Co reckon a GBP 50 Million investment now could turn it into a Billion pound company in a few years. | harebridge
17/6/2018 08:54 | "Frances’s friends agree that BooHoo and PLT target similar markets, but on the whole they use BooHoo more" | apad
16/6/2018 12:34 | Friend's daughter says: "I don’t think there’s much difference (between PLT & BOO). Boohoo has a generally slightly lower price range with more basic stuff. Tends to prefer BooHoo because they have more offers. She’s going to ask her friends as well." Kane says they are different, but I don't have the experience to see it. Mmmm. So maybe they are at 12%ish because they have cut down on the offers. Caveat 6week comparison. Any other experiences? apad😎 | apad

15/6/2018 16:21 | Another top product then , sold out then, must be a top seller product. | christh
15/6/2018 14:41 | Hi all - piece in the Mail online just now re PLT coming up with some kind of anti shafe ? tights that everyone raving about and have apparently already sold out - great positive news at least and customers taking to social media to applaud them etc | sponges
15/6/2018 14:35 | Dont understand shorting and holding at the same time. What little you made on your short you must have lost equally on your holding, or am I being thick? Why not just sell some of your holding and buy back in at the lower price? | hootza616
15/6/2018 13:11 | Toffeeman well done! Clever tactics but I do not comprehend it. So I leave alone.I do buy for long term and hold it. | christh
15/6/2018 12:59 | Christh I have been long from 47.4. I am bullish long term (though not as bullish as Telbap:)) I use shorting when I think resistance is hit so (in theory) I make some money on the downside while retaining my long holding. So I will look to short as and when we retest the 225 and 250 levels. | toffeeman
15/6/2018 12:07 | Toffeeman time to go long then, the Bulls have it. You can cash in at £2.50 or £3.00 in 2 months. | christh
15/6/2018 12:02 | I closed my short this morning for a tiny tiny profit. | toffeeman
15/6/2018 10:08 | And I'm not sure what you're looking at but the recent up trend was actually broken yesterday and Wednesday when the price set a new lower low. It'll need to get back above 225 to set a new higher high and confirm the trend is still in place. | villarich
15/6/2018 10:05 | I do use charts yes, but not so I can come on here and say it'll hit x or y today. That's just stupid. | villarich
15/6/2018 09:56 | Villarich 15 Jun '18 - 09:51 - 12464 of 12464 Christh - I’m not in the habit of making daily guesses as to what the price will be. It just makes you look stupid because 95% of the time you’re wrong. The 5% you’re right is down to pure luck. I thought you consult your charts? Don't your charts point you in the right direction, trend, volume? To me that is very clear as the uptrend has not broken. And with the solid results behind it, will rise to 220p. | christh

15/6/2018 09:43 | American Idiot well, I have the opposite view. I think this will rise to 250p-300p But not overnight! However the potential growth and has proven it from the trading statement will push it higher and given the strength of its now established brand will rise above 230p in the short term. You can not fool the market by using various excuses about the company! This is sour grapes. The company delivered exceptional growth and investing in even delivering more growth. The demise and fall of the high street fashion/clothes retailers will end up in the online puscases and mainly in the niche products that BOOHOO has created. Many ventures with celebrities are gathering pace and becoming a success. | christh
15/6/2018 09:41 | Villa.......i think it has sunk thru his/her toes .......vacuum.....:- | telbap
15/6/2018 09:28 | ...and what did you pencil in? What price will test today? | christh
15/6/2018 09:28 | Christh, to somebody that sells £3m worth of shares I doubt very much he will be too bothered about his £11,500 CGT allowance lol If you think about it there is never a good time for a director to sell shares. It will always be viewed negatively. The guy does have a life though, probably wants to buy himself a huge mansion - all made from the tat that Boohoo produce in sweat shops and then sell on to naive youngsters :-) I await 120p ! (Yes - a downgrade every hour from me lol) | american idiot
15/6/2018 08:58 | So you're pencilling in a 5 to 7 percent rise today? 5 to 7 percent...Just let that sink in. | villarich
15/6/2018 08:53 | The directors are very smart when they have a large holding which granted as options rather than given a cash bonus or incentive. They have to fill up a tax return and tax liability is huge. The taxman will take a big chunk out of it, thats why Mr Catto offloaded that amount. After all is an accountant, he knows how much tax will have to pay if the share price goes above a certain level. And again, he got his £11,500 allowance a s capital gains and maybe other expenses so he won't have to pay as much tax as other people. The same thing with the CEO, tax liability, taken care of the tax man. Do not be suprised if Mr Catto Buys back so crystallises his tax liabilities. Target price again 220p-225p today, in my humble opinion and my charts that hit me in the face(Is that right Villa the vile?) | christh |
