02/4/2019 10:55 | Well it's not the management its the PE firm that floated the business. They must have thought the situation is bad to bail at such a low figure, does seem wired that they don't think they could even get NTAV for the business going forward. Either that or they were forced sellers. | dangersimpson2
02/4/2019 10:48 | so do shareholders have to accept this? or can they decline and keep holding the shares? | bor491
02/4/2019 08:27 | Stuffed by PD and very likely to be taken private (imo) - Terminal for shareholders (probably) | pugugly

19/3/2019 11:27 | There seems a dichotomy on Bonmarche, between men who look at historic financials - and I concur, it would so appear - to reckon on a decent business to hone, versus women who say the clothes are not what they want to buy. If only the company can break out of poor marketing updates but they keep coming. Ultimately I've come to question the Bonmarche concept: 'Fool me once, shame on you, fool me thrice (or however many times here), shame on me. But I'll endeavour to keep an open mind. | edmondj
19/3/2019 10:54 | Thats a little harsh... over the last 4 years the turnover has averaged 186 mill and profit about 9 mill and a nice dividend. all for an m`cap of 13.8 mill whats not to like this year has been bad across the sector, the women will start buying again soon, plenty of money around. 19/3/2019 08:42 | This listed company seems to be chronically dysfunctional at marketing, despite various chief executives. As if its equity is left as option money on whoever might put it out of its misery, in a positive sense. | edmondj
19/3/2019 08:00 | Oh dear. Can't even do well with spring starting early. | aleman
18/3/2019 14:06 | Good spring weather and denim back in fashion so the relaunch of denim across all stores looks well timed. These shares might recover a bit. | aleman
25/2/2019 08:48 | Relevant extract from ABF's update: Sales at Primark are expected to be 4% ahead of last year in the first half, at both constant currency and actual exchange rates, driven by increased retail selling space partially offset by a 2% decline in like-for-like sales. With a much higher margin, profit is expected to be well ahead of the same period last year. Early trading of the new spring/summer range has been encouraging. The UK continued to perform well and we substantially increased our share of the total clothing, footwear and accessories market, with sales 2% ahead of last year. Cumulative like-for-like sales have improved since the January trading update. The effect of low footfall in November was offset by good trading in all other months, and like-for-like sales are expected to be level with last year in the first half. | aleman
25/1/2019 08:07 | I'm surprised these have not bounced first thing. Bad news usually comes in threes so I would have thought that the market would have expected more. Trading at -1% for Q4 , with Christmas stock clearing well, sounds like normality has returned after a pretty awful pre-Christmas. The copybook has been blotted but it could easily have been worse. | aleman
25/1/2019 07:49 | With forecast turnover of £182m (a chunk of which is on-line) and 300+ shops - just how many of those shops are profitable? I can see massive write downs in the Y/E figures. | podgyted
23/1/2019 13:54 | i fear 18p is coming | opodio
