19/6/2018 08:07 | Bloody excellent results. I had not really expected the dividend increase. The only negative I've seen so far is the slightly reduced cash balance and it is suggested that will reverse in the next year, which sounds to have started better. | aleman

18/6/2018 16:56 | I read N Brown announced they will close all their shops. Any views on whether this will reduce high st competition for Bonmarche? | qvg
18/6/2018 11:50 | Various reasons to hold this, most due to the financial stats than appear very good. But In addition I suspect the clothing market will get a one off demand rise from all this unusual and extreme weather. Going into next winter some will be thinking I do actually need that coat. This summer weather could continue etc. The shares probably don't need this on its own but it may help. | the oak tree
18/6/2018 11:00 | I've topped up ahead of tomorrow's results. We've already been told they will be in line even though sales were weak due to bad weather. A maintained dividend should make downside on the shares very limited. There could be upside, however. Better spring weather since the year end could lead to a better start to the current year (so reduced summer mark-downs) and the balance sheet is likely to have a bit more cash on it again, making it even stronger. Online sales growth was strong throughout the year. If it continues at similar rates, it will start offsetting store weakness soon. The target market is a growth one, if they get the mix of product and sales channels right. I'm optimistic and the rating seems very cautious. | aleman
15/5/2018 16:18 | The shares are starting to perk up again. We already know last year was in line. With a bit of luck, 2018 to date should be ahead of expectations. The warm, dry and sunny weather should be working wonders for sales of spring and summer collections. (It helped Next up to a week ago.) They will have nothing left for summer sales if it continues! | aleman

16/4/2018 13:41 | Looks like a trading statement for Q4 and FY due any day now.Last update said that unpredictable weather can either be good or bad (and to think the executives get paid loads to come up with statements like this).Won't be surprising to see footfall down, but maybe more winter stock sold at higher prices and great cashflow due to reduced inventories. Also online might show a good rise, given the focus and investments made.Personally at the current PE and what I think will be an increasing net cash pile, this is looking quite good value, even if growth is stagnant and outlook is uncertain. | boonkoh
26/3/2018 14:50 | got back into my old favorite on Friday and bought another 3k this morning to round up the numbers to 20k.... the high street may not be booming in the UK and BON`s numbers are not going to set the house on fire, but i think HC has got the measure now, and will not be wasting any money. This is cheap, a nice divi and plenty of cash in the bank.... WJ. | w1ndjammer
