It could well be a good return here tomboy, but should be much quicker (2 years). Depends how much they've held back for liquidation a other stuff. BONH has been a bit murky!

Eezy it'll be interesting to see what value they will get -

I had a share delisted 10 years ago on AIM -

3K investment, 8 years later got back 11k -

Mind u i had written it off -

I reckon min 1.2p/share was left over after tender (as a result of those not tendering), plus any further excess not required by liquidator. Unless some smelly stuff happens it's a great trade methinks, but we'll have to wait a year or two to see the proceeds.

31st last day of trading yet Berstein has taken almost 8% stake here -

Does he value the equity higher after share cancellation -

I suspect so -

Value V
Tender offer is 10p for 40% of one’s holding. So if you hold 10,000 shares you will get £400, leaving you with 6,000 in an unquoted company which will go into voluntary liquidation. My guess is that the voluntary liquidation will return a maximum of 1p per share for the remains holding or £60. So the total return might be £460 for your 10,000 shares. All this is subject to shareholder approval. Hope this helps!

We all read companies and the market differently....that is precisely what makes us buy or sell a stock. The market is based on sentiment and perception.

I have no vested interest in this Company doing well or otherwise, as I'm not getting involved 3rd time around !!

I have shared my experience of investing in BONH and people can make of it what they will.

Caveat emptor and good luck in spades to those who buy or hold....

I have held decent BONH stakes on 2 separate occasions but no longer. Flatters to deceive in my experience but key Director very well connected in the City it would appear by the roll call of Insti holders with over 3% declared holdings.

Very tightly held and therefore ill liquid....my gut feeling is that BONH will be delisted at some point/ could well be a left field move.

So people need to DYOR and not get stuck in BONH or find themselves in a OCT kind of situation (down 67.5% on announcement of intention to delist announced today).

Caveat emptor and good luck to the brave souls who trade/hold !

Sorry to hear dave4545.

We have all been done over at some point in the market, if we have been in it for a while. Rock Solid Image (RSI) is where I came a cropper with a very substantial holding.

I now pay particular attention to where the Company is domiciled....if they move their tax domicile or Registered Address, I get out. Not worth the risk.

CTP is one such share where I anticipated this was on the cards. The web of holdings/cross holdings and related party transactions were getting increasingly difficult to understand or justify, so when the moved to a Tax Haven (think it was Jersey). I knew it was game over.

BONH and WBI are also on my potential delisting radar....

Commisserations to all holders but the signs were there and I had repeatedly cautioned about BONH if one goes through the early part of this thread....

Agree abarclay - step over options with no ambition or need to hit any meaningful growth targets.

Looks like it is only a matter of time before BONH is cancelled/delisted/bought out with the often trotted excuse that the market is not valuing the business appropriately. I'll give it 12-18 months or fewer.

No advice intended - just my perspective.
