I would add -

UNLESS YOU CHASE IT UP SOMETIMES YOUR SHARES ARE NOT RETURNED -

I wrote that in bold because I only got the return from news from a fellow investor on this site -

I spoke to the liquidator and that led to the return of funds -

My broker said nothing -

Hi Alan. I’m a bit torn with this question. As a general rule, I don’t like offering advice to others particularly if I am conflicted. I am sorry that you have lost money on this one. I don’t know what your current cost basis is or what sort of multiple of original capital you would need to put down to make you in the green or close to it. But I will say that a lot of people (myself included) have avoided averaging down when things have turned sour because of emotion. I was able to buy a big batch of PCF when it announced it was de-listing and I think it’s fair to say that a lot of existing PCF investors were so burnt and upset that they missed the attractive bet the depressed share price provided. I am experiencing something similar with another of my investments (GAM Holdings) which has done nothing but head south since I bought at 93p about a month ago. Either way, I own this and think there’s margin in it. There’s still some uncertainty around the final outcome and I think it’s hard for any of us to speculate what it will *definitely* be. In your situation, the best thing might be to wait until the final deal terms are announced and the distribution amount is clear and then buy in size so that your £ amount offsets the smaller potential gain in % terms from here i.e. you could invest £100 today for a potential 25-30% return…or £500 for a potential 10-15% return.

Agreed ChrisInvestors Champion have called this a Bonkers Valuation for a couple of yearsWould a 10p target be a realistic thoughtWhat might we expect the company to raise from the disposal ?

Investor's Champion comments on the previous director buys back in Jan:

Bonkers Bargain Director buying
Simon Stilwell, the Chief Executive of Bonhill Group (AIM:BONH), one of our previous Bonkers Bargain opportunities, is clearly more confident in the Group’s recovery prospects acquiring another 200,000 shares at a price of 10.5 pence per share, lifting his overall stake to 3,435,500 shares, or 3.48% of the issued share capital. A day earlier Mr Stillwell also acquired 50,000 shares.

There is no better sign for investors than Directors buying, especially when the shares are firmly out of favour.

No surprise here...

* A profit warning
* A cash call seems pretty nailed on as £1m won't last very long
* A key top exec leaves/moved on...only a matter of time before the inevitable

As I said before and IMHO, BONH is highly likely to be delisted/MBO in due course as shares are tightly held by a number of funds who all are underwater. They are likely to want an exit of some sorts even if it means taking a loss.

Any private investor needs to keep the possibility in mind lest they get caught out.

DYOR and Good luck to anyone who chooses to hold !

Of course it's great to see price rising - hats of to Investors Champion for flagging this. Very disappointed to not have seen any director deals since the results came out last week.

As investors champion recently reported - this is a very low valuation I actually believe the decent number of institutions invested here to be a positive - granted it means free float very low and stock very illiquidWith the outlook definitely mending why can't this significantly re rate ?
