30/9/2018 01:51 | Don't worry folks Ripple is just one of many crypto currencies that are in a huge bubble that is already bursting. | amt
29/9/2018 15:41 | @Villarich I get the feeling there's a queue. | redbarge
28/9/2018 14:21 | exactly my sentiment.. with new deals and diversified product offerings, next year should see plenty more of the same and continued momentum | kalkaar
28/9/2018 12:50 | The analysis should be kept simple. Currently, Boku are only adding clients and increasing customer base. As long as this continues, profits and a rise in share price will continue. I will evaluate my position if this changes but I cannot see their client base decreasing at the moment. | superhotchilli
28/9/2018 12:26 | Nor me. I think he must have been talking about a bank account payment. | muzmanoz
28/9/2018 12:06 | I still don't understand. X-rapid would be the middle man. | superhotchilli
28/9/2018 11:11 | This was Chimers' explanation when asked on the Bango thread how a transaction with Amazon would work. Didn't convince me.... Chimers - 19 Sep 2018 - 17:04:21 - 3344 of 3488 Amazon will use Xrapid for all payments. You pay Amazon on your phone or whatever device and the payment is sent using Xrapid. YOU DONT USE RIPPLE. Ripple is burned during the X rapid transfer. It's faster and it's far cheaper and it involves 'NO MIDDLEMEN' like Bango or Boku. It is being rolled out in the next 6 weeks to 150 of the worlds top banks for their intra bank transactions. It will eat into swifts payment fees and eventually wipe them out. | muzmanoz
28/9/2018 11:08 | I love Hot Chilli | thomas4billing
27/9/2018 15:32 | @chimers, YAWN....... | redbarge
27/9/2018 15:17 | BOKU raised £45m: £15m for themselves and £30m for Venture Capital who exited at IPO. so really only £15m to fund growth or as you say.. "to stay in the game" - not a huge amount for a £125m market cap company at the time of floating? taking that in to account and at the current halfway point this year they have c. $28m in cash (£21.5m) so it's not a ponzi scheme.. we all should acknowledge they have to do massive EUS before they get decent revenue.. but they are and have gone EBITA positive already with affirmation guidance will be met. so i'll stick around a while longer while they're in their "growth phase" if that's okay with you? cheers for the concern though :) | kalkaar
27/9/2018 15:15 | Chimers. Filtered. Why on earth do we have idiots like him that spoil threads. He also needs to have a spelling lesson, swiftly followed by one in manners. Back to basics for the baby. | jockthescot
27/9/2018 15:01 | VISA................ Research eh!! | chimers
27/9/2018 15:00 | Boku have proved nothing except that they wouldn't have survived hence them having to LIST. If they were so brilliant they wouldn't have listed and kept all those imaginary profits for themselves. THEY LISTED BECAUSE THEY NEED YOUR MONEY to stay in the game. | chimers
27/9/2018 14:53 | I wonder how many times Visa and Mastercard heard they were going to be made redundant by new tech in the last forty years...and they're still here. @chimers you are becoming a very boring and repetitive tit..if you go through his past posts then he originally claimed Boku was a fraud, now it's blockchain and tomorrow it will be something else...predictable. | redbarge
27/9/2018 14:34 | the blockchain prophet (pun intended :) has spoken fairplay, it may well become the future standard for all mobile payments but this change is not going to happen overnight.. the market for mobile payments is huge and expected to grow rapidly into the 2020's.. blockchain is still in its infancy, (as some of your articles have clearly alluded to), so to scale up will take several years at the very least. And who's to say the management won't adapt and find a way to be a part of blockchain story at some point in the future, afterall, they are not dorks, they are bright cookies if you look at who they are and what their experience is.. they are proven payments specialists! haven't got my head up their ar$e, as it's my money on the line and as you have said in one of your many posts, you have got to be doubtful of every company unless it proves otherwise.. I think BOKU and their management have proved they know what they are doing and have earned the benefit of any doubt.. if it's "old tech" but it works and it is growing pretty rapidly (for the moment) then nothing to fix. Also "new tech" takes longer than we all think to be widely adopted.. but i will be watching carefully now so thanks for that! | kalkaar
27/9/2018 14:09 | Maybe Chimers wishes us to produce his new fiction: « Saving Private Chimers»and not Ryan | thomas4billing
27/9/2018 14:02 | should be grateful he hasn't wiped the floor clean with the thread as he's done with the Bango one.. hahaha personally, i never knock anyone's opinion which adds to the debate and always good to keep an open mind.. granted Chimers has his own unique way of doing this :) ps - Bango just lost their CFO.. maybe read your posts and decided to jump ship to Ripple eh Chimers :-p | kalkaar
27/9/2018 13:41 | @chimers hahaha triggered... | redbarge |
