09/1/2018 21:16 | Sorry to be tiresome, if it reported in to the market in the accounts or an RNS it will be properly validated by the NOMAD, part of their responsibility and by the Auditors if it is included in the Report & Accounts. Sorry to let facts get in the way again! | whatever13
09/1/2018 21:13 | It’s money for a 1st class 6* luxury globetrotting lifestyle in Spain, NY, Mayfair, Cheshire and (Sandy Lane) Barbados. Thanks to us investors. | wetwestwales
09/1/2018 21:07 | That’s just an excuse. | wetwestwales
09/1/2018 21:05 | It’s not a tax bill. | wetwestwales
09/1/2018 19:22 | Mercer’s tax bill comes from a failed tax scheme with a previous FD who operates out of Manchester from what I gather. Worth noting this CFO is not the first to resign / be resigned (prior to the IPO). RNS soon? Within a week? | ripplevale
09/1/2018 18:17 | It is totally inconceivable that the company will not have paid PAYE on DMs remuneration and that DM was on a consultancy contract. It would require collaboration and collusion of so many people, chairman, CFO and PWC along with falsifying the report and accounts that everybody can be totally sure it will not be the case. The most likely cause of DMs “tax bill”, if that’s what it, is will be HMRC reassessing a film, patent or similar tax avoidance scheme as this fits when most people received notices of reassessment and had to make payments. | whatever13
09/1/2018 17:27 | Well waiting patiently, key priority right now is securing new NOMAD so don't expect any other news short term. Harry and the NEDs have more pressing matters to focus on first and no point issuing market valuable information (unless legally required)until BNN can trade again. Some wild speculation posts on here I feel, would like to see a few sources of information for comments made like PAYE records of an individual, meeting minutes not in the ARs, etc. Certainly accept and agree changes are required and DMs actions look definitely unethical at the very least. Even as largest share holder don't expect to see him as an exec when the new exec team is announced. Back to priorities, waiting to see new NOMAD announced. | perfect choice

09/1/2018 11:37 | Andy . If CD got any sense he has filtered you . Strange individual . | delboy39
09/1/2018 11:35 | Mick . I think this proves the point CD & others are making . The running of this company has been abismal and the only thing they have done well is raise a chunk of cash . Very strange that the Chair would not want to let shareholders know that the company is still running producing decent cash flow whilst the board problems are sorted . I wonder what 300 staff are doing in China 😊 It is time to open up the truth Mr Chairman and let’s us know what’s gone on . | delboy39
09/1/2018 11:05 | Just occurred to me to wonder why DM has a large tax bill. Think about it. His only income must be from the company - his pub is apparently losing money. If the company was paying him through payroll then it would have paid PAYE. Simple logic then - they didnt pay him through payroll. Another scam. The earnings disclosed in the accounts must therefore be gross payments claimed to be paid under a contract and therefore he didnt pay the income tax on it!! The mans greed knows no bounds. Look out BNN - maybe there's a PAYE investigation round the corner. | micktheknife
09/1/2018 09:56 | Newman . I agree if the company was making huge profits this could deal with the problems of its CEO and crew . But the figures have not been published and because of the hidden bonuses etc it makes you think how accurate previous numbers announced were . I am a long and sas a strong supporter of this stock but not now knowing how it was being run . | charlesdarcy
09/1/2018 09:55 | newman, First part is a corporate governance issue, CFO walked as a result it would appear. The NOMAD resigned, why can't people accept that? The company is well funded, or should be, so they have the funds to continue, but how well is the business actually doing? They will be judged on that. | andy
09/1/2018 09:47 | Ok. So I understand that mercer has been a very bad boy supported by a weak chairman re bonus payment etc. Got it. CFO resigns because he did not agree, plus kept out the loop plus books not correct etc. Got it. Nomad resigns because of bonus saga or was pushed. Got it. But are you telling me the company is going to the rubbish heap because of all this bonus saga? Surely it is all about how is the business doing? Trading? Etc. | newmanontheblock

08/1/2018 23:48 | RIP BNN You were all warned and had lots of time to wake up and get out, sorry to have to say! | topazfrenzy
08/1/2018 23:47 | The winners out of all this are certain directors awarding each other dollops of money, and various grateful Chinese entities who are the recipients of millions of pounds of BNN investment without having to give much back in return. PwC have obviously taken a nice fee, but then have been predictably ineffectual. Two months after their extensive investigation-report | balance1
08/1/2018 23:18 | No need to apologise, vegpatch. If you hadn't followed GKP you wouldn't be aware of the 100 to 1 consolidation. Give advfn it's due, it's charts do take a/c of consolidations so if you look at the advfn chart of GKP you will see it adjusts the share price prior to the cosolidation to take a/c of it. Most other financial web sites don't adjust their charts to a/c for consolidations, unfortunately. Luckily I don't hold BNN. It was tipped (when it was DJI) by GENISES around 18 months ago on another bb, but I disregarded the tip (I tend to ignore all tips on bb's) even though the DJI chart at the time appeared bullish. Why? I just don't trust companies operating in China yet listed on AIM (why don't they list in China instead where they are likely to be more highly valued if they are genuine?). It always strikes me as decidedly fishy; also the failure rate of such companies on AIM is very high. Many delist and disappear for ever (along with their assets, if they ever had any!). | papillon
08/1/2018 21:27 | Apologies Papillon, my mistake. Not sure my IG chart has taken that into account. I stand rightly corrected. Either way he wasn't the bees knees as some predicted at the time. Investors should be careful with the hope they put in NEDs. As pointed out, most of these NEDs do 1-2 days a month. So they can police the RemCo etc but can't really do much to influence trading. They offer sound advice to management but don't get involved in trading. Good luck if you are placing your ongoing faith in Harry Keiley, Lord Mancroft and Mark Hanson, you are in very safe hands | vegpatch
08/1/2018 21:14 | PJandy ? Have I missed a couple of posts . This is just not important whoever He/She is posting as . Hoping a RNS TOMORROW ! | delboy39
08/1/2018 21:05 | If trade is nothing like what has been reported then the institution Money will be blocked until a full investigation . Hence the company will close its doors straight away . | delboy39
08/1/2018 20:27 | Can I bring my dogs ? | wetwestwales
08/1/2018 20:20 | Hobnob1: see my reply. It's not posting on the main BB for some reason. | wetwestwales |
