I see there has been a repeat on here of the ludicrous suggestion that the PWC report was a "whitewash". Apart from the obvious fact that these posters cannot know if the report is a whitewash because they haven't seen it, the implications of such a suggestion are absurd.

If this were correct it would require PWC to have investigated and found the allegations against one or both of the two directors to be true but then, presumably complicit with the BNN board, to agree to cover this up knowing that inevitably, if the allegations were true, sooner or later (and most likely sooner) this would become publicly evident.

Does anyone seriously believe PWC would agree to do this? This BNN investigation was a small assignment for a firm of PWC's size - why would they risk reputational damage and potential legal liability by such deceit?

Some of the posters making this whitewash claim are just following blindly any conspiracy theory without either the capacity or effort to think for themselves about what they are saying. Others know very well the suggestion is nonsense but say it anyway because it suits their purpose.

I think there is probably more conspiracy theories going on, on this site than what has actually happened to BNN... time will tell! But hoping this will be released from its suspension within a few weeks with a new team & news on results & business activity going forward..

The NOMAD has to present a case to the regulators to suspend, it is not done lightly as Jaknife correctly states.


It's more of a last resort, and suggests that for it to have happened first thing Monday after a late accusation on a Friday meant people working all weekend. Not a good sign,IMO

Yes have to say if nomad says suspend shares then that's it. Company does not have luxury to ignore that "advice".

Expect BNN to lift suspension when nomad is happy and they have got their act together with new appointments and a trading update i.e. planned "relaunch" I would say

Not really clear to me why this thing is suspended at all.

Company advisors should bear in mind that the 'safe' 'prudent' advice, which may allow them to sleep at nights, is not always in the best interests of shareholders

I invest with my own simple rules in place where I don’t over stretch in any one share .

For the first time in 20 years I broke that rule by investing a lot more in BNN and having the money frozen .
Have reduced my investing in other stocks drastically and although not complaining of a profit my last two investments I have bought and sold with 38% & 24% profits but only 30% of my normal investment amount .

So this situation is costing me money having no flexibility to a large figure investment and I am sure this may well be the same for many others on here .

Come on Harry let’s get something moving here let’s here some trading numbers for the last few months and then follow it up with news CEO / CFO before back trading .

Suspect CEO and CFO appointments are linked but seems one is more advanced (suspect CFO based on last RNS and may be announced first before anything else). Think suspension will be lifted early December but all down to agreeing terms with a new CEO so timescales are fluid shall we say.

BNN are making cash and that should be growing, its more of a case that cash generation hasn't reached full cash burn levels yet. That was meant to be during Q4 which we are in now (and Scott was very sure in confirming that at the AGM). However this suspension and lack of senior management to drive forward new initiatives and service launches will have definitely delayed this so a Q1 objective if all initiatives in place. However until a trading statement is published on the status and progress of all initiatives nothing can be sure so we will just have to wait and see.

I note previous comments about initial marketing revenues being received which if the case is a good sign on that side of business generation at least and a new revenue stream. November is a key month for this as China has its "Chinese Singles' Day" on the 11th for which Alibaba's online sites generated sales of US$17.8 billion in 2016 for example. Now BNNs Tmall site is absolutely tiny against this volume but even a very small proportion of revenues and marketing income BNN is able to earn from this event is a big number for BNN right now. I'm glad Wei Qi is back on board "with immediate effect" to quote the last RNS, this is a key income event for BNN and that is important right now.

So we wait details, my view is that when BNN are able to announce a new CEO they will commence a series of announcements covering the CFO (if not announced earlier), trading statement on all initiatives plus forward view forecast and date for removal of suspension of shares on AIM. FY 2017 results are basically fixed by now with a little over 8 weeks of the year left so little time for any uplift in monthly revenues to contribute to overall results. Its the run rate in Q4 and forecast beyond, which now needs to be looked at and evidence provided that any forecast is a realistic achievable target. Or put it another way, BNN have basically slipped their business growth back 3 months.

Problem is that new CEO will probs want some say on new CFO, so might be a while before full new board is in place. Trading update would be nice now.

Lets hope Mercer can massage some new deals and keep the older deals going and lets hope there has been no damge to the ongoing deals we have. would be nice to have an update on the current situation for trading and some statement to say all deals are ongoing and performing well!

Yes I agree a very strong appointment of a CEO is required who has experience of business in China .
It could be January before the stock starts trading again if we don’t hear any news of appointment in the next 2-3 weeks .

Totally correct in that at the time I posted I did not have any position.

However, the first 3 names have all posted genuinely and honestly. I would suggest the 'Clown' tags applies to those stuck in love in a suspended sucker stock generating nil cash,
