Highasakite, your missing the point, this is a UK company that operates in China...

If nobody showed any interest in these chinese companies then they wouldn't list in the UK.

I think people are aware of the risks & opportunities in dealing with companies that have there operations in China...l think you will find most of the people on this site are fully aware of this..

Yes, fair comment Andy...let's see what news comes out of BNN over the next couple of weeks... interim appointments, PR company & statement going forward after PwC's review...

If it does come back from suspension, I tend to agree, price will drop. But that could be a great opportunity as one would assume BNN would have a clean bill of health going forwards after the PwC investigation. Just have to wait and see.

and11,

If BNN resumes trading, it will be too late to put on a short.

It will be straight down from the open I would imagine, the price was weak before the suspension so even if DM is reinstated, there will be doubts and I would think that will result in a drop early doors.

PC,

"Probability wise I believe the chance of trading recommencing is improving based on what you can find out from the IIs who surely must be closer to this than PI"

Out if interest, what has been found out from the II's?

As there is no detail on the allegations don't know whey this theory of DM share selling has even appeared other than a theory as to the cause of the allegation. Even following that line, those shares would have to be taken up by somebody and if sold on market we would see evidence of volume which just isn't there as far as I can see on historical trades.

Just don't think that is the cause of the accusation. The one thing I am seeing is indications that the investigation seems to be short term (2-3 week left) which indicates it is a single issue rather than a wider company issue. Probability wise I believe the chance of trading recommencing is improving based on what you can find out from the IIs who surely must be closer to this than PIs, be it specific details are unknown.

So we are all in the idle speculation game and there are an easy 2 weeks or so to go unless some leak occurs (but lock down seems strong), so time to go back to sleep (investment/posting wise!) and just wait. TTFN

newman,

Exactly, it's best not to speculate at all, nobody has a clue and it only makes people more anxious.

It's best to wait until facts are known, IMO.

Again, I am afraid all speculating here about DM share selling. If he did, and did not disclose he is in trouble. But what is more important is the why? Did he sell because he had other debts to finance...then business could still be in good shape. But if he sold because he knew something that other investors didn't...business could be in worse shape than reported. Who knows!!!!

@wla2510 - "DM has 20M shares and won't sell for less than £3/share. With these allegations now i begin to wonder whether shares have been sold without disclosure to the market. I know, we have to wait and see, the outcomes range from this being a positive turning point for BNN to the end of it and lose all your money!"

I originally thought that if he held so many shares, he'd be an absolute fool to do ANYTHING to the detriment of the business and therefore the shares - ultimately his large (potential) pay day down the line. In theory it would make his £500k annual salary and £500k Directors loan look like small fry if the company actually climbed back up to the success that was previously potentially predicted and he would be richly rewards for earning all the deals we have been assured he has done (such is his apparent expertise).

However, IF that were to be the case (sold without disclosure and whilst we do not know anything YET!), do you happen to know what the actual potential repercussions are to not just the company, but also to us as investors? I am imagining a larger mess and still the "worst case scenario" that I believe you and I have factored in here, namely everything is lost.

Heartened by the steadiness of the share price here

This should allow the board plenty of room for a placing ,in view of the high monthly cashburn

Very happy

If you have such a great life go & live it rather than posting your rubbish on here, which adds no value to the site. 😎
