Noted Charlesdarcy. Jaknife should try and get a better name as that let's him down as much as his views. BNN has definitely been short manipulated, but there is little room for that game again! We seem to have established a floor price, and so any shorting will not bring great returns And any short position will just crumble over time. We will see, but this is a bull run about to start, and the bears better be aware!!!

Newman ;
I have much respect of your posts and many others on here
Just be warned of the web being spun here by Jaknife .

I say no more other than I am ready to top up again on any drop .

Some great moves by BNN in the last week and it is going to be a successful listing my opinion is it could be as high as $2.50 ...

Charlesdarcy. You and I share a long term vision for BNN and hopefully respect each other's posts over the last few months. But I don't think this share is going to bound back up quickly. More of a steady burn, IMHO. That's going to be the better way over the next 4-6 months before Nasdaq listing. Let's s hope we reach £2 at Least by listing time...and then we will all be happy. Could be higher, for sure. GLAlongs.

Jaknife,

Topaz wants what's best for you and thinks that you should not waste your energy trying to speculate the demise here since the new appointments last Friday, they have joined the board to turn this into a multibillion dollar outfit IMO, it's coming and faster than most think!

I could also answer your queries regarding your responses to pc, but im sure pc will, if it's worth pointing this out to someone who clearly has no understanding of this business..get a grip & move your short on before you get burnt...

Jaknife...shows, what little you know about the history of BNN or DJI... the majority of its revenues came through third parties, not through its direct business, which it did indeed sold off! This will again be exploited through the current apps/ platforms BNN run...your limited knowledge is embarrassing/laughable! Typical shorter.. don't get burnt...GL to everyone else...

Honestly. Some criticise the UK for lacking artistic talent, but from the fictional prose I have read on this site in the last few days/weeks/months...those doubters should not fear! Brittain is alive and kicking with fictional novelists, creating imaginary fear and trying to make a fast buck. Shame I cannot say that this board is full of professional amateur investors adding valuable insights. Of course those of you, and you know who you are...I appreciate your views. I am not trying to distinguish between long and short positions, it's just how professional you are at putting your arguments across. So, I am long. GLA.

Be interesting to see at what price they get any Nasdaq funding away at. Be handy to raise a serious sum to cover their future plans, like £50m or so.

imho l would also expect to here news within the next few months regarding the online lottery business being re-introduced to the Chinese market. Not a main play anymore for BNN going forward but BNN will be well placed to receive a good chunk of this business when it returns, adding additional revenue & margins to the bottom line with little or no effort from the company. All looks good in the short, medium & long term... holding firm.GLA

Some desperate comments from shorters on this BB today. Fact is revenue is progressively increasing reducing cash burn as the months go by. New revenue streams also coming on line over the next 6 months covering utility/fines on current mobile app, new motorist app, marketing revenues, plus further expansion of coverage to all 12 regions (2 still to become active). And that covers just known initiatives, there are more to come on top but I'm only thinking next 6 months right now. I can see another placing at Nasdaq listing time to keep the current £45M cash pile high, but after that BNN will be cash generative. If BNN were just "plodding along" with BAU service and nothing more I would see their point but that is not the case even for the shorter term picture. Key stage is Nasdaq listing now, I wouldn't want to be holding a short after that so only a short period to play the game here.

I take your point certainly. No one should assume that a high return is guaranteed just because of large II's entering the fray. However, II's do not invest on a whim, why would they? There has to be something in there to attract them, even if the risks are high.

I agree maybe it is. But then in reverse so is the bull case for II's investing. But none of the Longs here including you mentioned that. I wonder why?

PJ1 - that's an incredibly weak point. Everyone invested knows the risks and knows II's get it wrong from time to time. But they do not invest blind. To say they do is very naive.

I well remember a host of Institutional Investors repeatedly supporting Monitise during numerous placings. They were also supported by the likes of Giants Visa and IBM. Im sure they did their homework too.

The 'speak' on the then BB. hosted by Leeson, was exactly the same as here, where any negative comments were met with aggression and attempted derision , if not then they were deleted from the thread. It was safety in numbers for anyone long. Unfortunately many were led down the garden path so to speak. Always Jam tomorrow.

If you haven't I suggest you look at the chart. MONI

The fact certain II's are Investing and taking part in placings means diddly squat.

I'd say an annualised return of 9.3% since 1990 with assets of a whopping 32bn is pretty impressive, no? There are plenty of 'big boys' out there, but outperforming the benchmark is not the only indicator of one. Anyone could put a negative spin on anything if they really wanted. But finding true positives is much harder, and I'd say there are a fair few in respect of this fund.

How can a number of people extol the virtue of "the big boys", yet when i point out the track record isnt as great as you would assume and maybe this is just option money in a fund, you then change the argument to state this underperformance is expected "As do the majority of funds out there."

so which is it? clever big boys or underperforming big boys...?
