21/4/2017 11:07 | Well, I pitched BMR to an old friend as a takeover play (he could do it if he wanted to; he's done far bigger deals). His first reaction was shock that such a simple job (starting up the plant) could be taking so long. So I replied that was why the company is so cheap; the CEO is a clueless twit. Anyway, he said he would have his people look at it in detail. So, we'll see. I repeat: current mcap of company 10m, cost of buyout probably 15m, investment required max 10m, assets of company (tailings) nearly 2bn, potential profits 1bn. There simply aren't that many lowish risk deals around which offer 40x return within 15 years, so I'm optimistic. Separately, I've also been given convincing evidence that information is leaking out from this company contrary to market rules. So, GLA and take care! | bookwormrobert
21/4/2017 08:17 | Well seems like Alex is trying to recover the mess he is in charge of although at half a penny old money MA did a far better ramping job at 30p equivalent LOLsss | qsmeily456
20/4/2017 08:40 | Get back in while you can QS - price is going up, tick tock! | kryptonsnake
20/4/2017 08:40 | Just received a fax on my pager from Boznichef the Russian spy. He told me news coming next week! | kryptonsnake
20/4/2017 08:38 | Where's your 5.5p placing? Probably won't happen! | kryptonsnake
20/4/2017 08:34 | It doesn't really matter if there is a planned placing or not, at this point. IMHO, the damage has already been done, and current management's credibility is shot (though I'd accuse AB of laziness and incompetence rather than anything fraudulent and criminal). BUT, there remain very valuable assets available at a very reasonable price: the company can be bought outright for a little more than 10m, and a little more than 10m of investment will ensure that production begins promptly. The potential return on that 20m is close to 1bn. I've alerted a couple of people in the city and a Russian metals oligarch I know. Let's see if they are interested. It's clear to me that this company needs new management to progress. | bookwormrobert

19/4/2017 22:24 | My reason for 5p was due to delay and lack of Zema approval which we still seem not to have yet. | kwizza
19/4/2017 17:11 | Got a sneaky feeling QS has been quietly loading up today. P.S. Maybe I should have put that short on BMR haha. | kryptonsnake
19/4/2017 16:51 | Stav, as you say Ducks and Backs. Modern life Drone Footage. Can't wait for the Prequel and Sequel. Dust as it was, Dust now and Future Dust. When it all comes good, Revenge of the Dust and the final, Dude Where's my Dust. | fireball xl5
19/4/2017 16:44 | Voice over for drone footage? Brilliant, sounds like MA's Blue Sky and Coppa del Kabwe. What's the backing track? Leavin on a Jet Plane, Rob Peter to Pay Paul and Mary. Stairway to Heaven, my Zeppelin is leaking. Rocket Man, Jilted Jezzer. Space Oddity, Robbed the Plant, Wings of a Drone, AB Madness. Free Bird, BMR Skinners, Wind Beneath my Wings, Eau de Kabwe, Fly by Night, The Bod, I Believe I Can Fly, ACI and The Sunshine Band. | fireball xl5
19/4/2017 16:38 | QS Its all water off a ducks back after what we have endured here since 5th April 2002! BMR under old management, ..Clint Eastwood's classic line..... 19/4/2017 16:29 | FB On top Form I see!!! Gents Lets not run away with ourselves, here is something to occupy the mind, and stop the negativity that often springs from lack of communication hxxp://www.vanadiumc This is an extract of a thorough but long article with lots of relevant information as to the increasingly bright future potential of Vanadium Batteries, and the problems that will result in the decline of Nuclear power in the West at least. The graphs in the article itself show the meteoric rise in renewable energy production and falling costs, to challenge conventional power production, the missing link has been STORAGE!!!! I like this ending statement Lastly, vanadium accounts for 30% to 50% of the cost of VRBs, making it essential for VRB manufacturers to secure vanadium supply. Hello BMR! Smartphone overheating problem solved, vanadium nanobeams to the rescue - The Financial Express hxxp://www.financial | stav5001
19/4/2017 16:08 | Like I said Phsyco you bought too early. I said 5.5p anyone a week or so ago. Yes they will come clean LOLsss | qsmeily456
19/4/2017 15:51 | I spoke to Alex today, ACI deal is still on, he was busy recording a voice over for the drone video footage to be released shortly, bought another 100k on the back of that conversation! | markjwal
19/4/2017 15:45 | Frankly, if this wasn't Kabwe (i.e. very polluted), this company at this price with this business plan would be a prime takeover target. Buy out for mcap of 10m + small premium, invest 5-10m more, and you'd have a producing asset worth 100m within a year or so. Current management are making very slow progress, at best, and in more dynamic hands this project could be brought to fruition quickly. It's even making me think about picking up the phone... | bookwormrobert
19/4/2017 15:16 | Where's QS and his TIMBER posts?? I can't keep up with it myself. | kryptonsnake
19/4/2017 15:13 | Yes I agree. and the 148k sell. Since then it's looking a little stronger despite the drop. | kryptonsnake
19/4/2017 15:12 | Oh Yes, a sing song - Catch a Falling Star and ...... Doesn't rain that much in Kabwe LOL Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Never let it fade away Catch a falling star and put it in your pocket Save it for a rainy day (Save it for a rainy, rainy, rainy, rainy day) For when your troubles start multiplyin' and they just might It's easy to forget them without tryin' With just a pocketful of starlight | fireball xl5
19/4/2017 15:06 | i think it was that big 227k sale that started it | bullinachinashop3
19/4/2017 14:58 | My crystal ball says that today's sudden share price plunge reflects a leak from inside the company. Placing ahoy?!? News that the ACI deal is defunct / inoperative?!? | bookwormrobert
19/4/2017 14:24 | It's all cloak and dagger with this company. AB is a Russian spy. | kryptonsnake
19/4/2017 14:24 | A Mkt Cap of under £10 million, beggars belief if all is good in the hood. | fireball xl5
19/4/2017 14:21 | Off we go again. Nothing is ever as it appears here. We have to read between the lines and that tells us nothing. As Stav says nothing material should have changed but this is BMR. Still holding tight but my fingers have become shredded over the years and my money, well that has been diluted to a spoonful. | fireball xl5 |
