03/1/2018 08:12 | I still think the diamond-industry is beginning to gain traction again. A couple of firms on the rise in the last few weeks and a new initial offering even today ...Frontier diamonds. I don't know anything about them except to say that they are interested in South Africa 'The company has an agreement to acquire a 74% interest in a group of companies operating diamond mines in the globally renowned Kimberley region of South Africa.' so perhaps signs of life? | hazl
27/12/2017 09:05 | Sorry haven't kept up with BOD lordz but wish you luck. BRD looking interesting now. | hazl
27/12/2017 08:57 | Sorry Area... Not agreement. Autospell. | lordz
27/12/2017 08:56 | A very high prospect license agreement maibwe. | lordz
27/12/2017 08:55 | Hazl... I guess that BOD strongly got very high hopes on BCL liquidation. For maibwe. | lordz
19/12/2017 15:59 | Again rather than concentrating on BOD perhaps we should compare ourselves to STEL diamonds which is in real recovery mode this afternoon! | hazl
19/12/2017 14:18 | we mustn't forget director bought shares recently as well. | hazl
19/12/2017 11:36 | I guess that's what I'm saying above, sector reasons, but I still hold and BRD is much the best of the bunch I feel. They are in a good place as an individual company. BOD different place in my opinion. | hazl
19/12/2017 11:23 | some caution here i feel - didn't react well to recent AGM statement | luckymouse
19/12/2017 09:46 | To be fair, the general market in the industry has been slower than expected, as above, the contrast between the two articles shows. However China is up and coming and eventually things might well change. If BRD can get the better quality stones as seems likely ,then sell them at a market price, as an individual company it seems to have more chance than many of the smaller ones I have seen. But explains the delay so far, I guess. | hazl
18/12/2017 21:48 | Again thanks to Tomboy for the link.........so short of time at present to back these choices up. | hazl
18/12/2017 21:45 | 'as IDEX is directed towards B2B exchanges, while CEDEX is designed for B2C exchanges. By joining forces, both companies stand to expand their share of the market while also helping the diamond market to grow as a whole.' ....helping the diamond market to grow as a whole'!! More evidence of a change in the sector,to my mind and that's from an article in CNN. Actually TECH BRD do seem to go well together I am glad I have got both. | hazl
18/12/2017 10:22 | pity the NEX ones don't show up straight away. | hazl
18/12/2017 09:47 | Diamonds...Christmas | hazl
16/12/2017 11:42 | Thanks for the link tomboy. | hazl
16/12/2017 11:40 | De Beers intend to spend 140 MILLION DOLLARS on advertising ! | hazl
16/12/2017 11:22 | Although this article has a different slant,it confirms for me that the low for diamond prices is soon to be over..... 'The diamond industry has been booming for many years, and studies showcase that consumer demand for diamonds is of 95% whereas the remaining 5% accounts for investment demands. However, as diamond prices may change during the next few years, they can become an interesting investment possibility.' The last part says it all,to me. Again you don't get big advertising spend,at the wrong time they have the best researchers. IMO | hazl
14/12/2017 18:40 | Excellent! Thanks. I think people are always reluctant at first,at the end of the cycle, because previous drops can be appear painful over time. If your fresh into diamond stocks though, then it is great to pick them up at such a low,in my opinion. | hazl
14/12/2017 17:01 | This first target is basically retracing the final climactic sell off from around 5.25p and which lasted 5 months (a Fibonacci time period which I like). The top of the big white candlestick (the body - not the tail on the top) at 2.25p also marked the top of what looks like a base area. So you can expect the target when it breaks out to be the same percentage move as the move from the bottom to the top of the base. In Meerkat language....Simples! Don't forget half price cinema tickkets on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if you bought insuuurances on compare ze market dot com! Eh! Vunce ze downtrend has broken, a bigger retrace as wells from za 2015 high vill be underwayz. Evenz if eeet only gets to ze first Fibo retrace of 23.6% you are lookings at nearly 9 pences. That will excite Sergei! | bikwik
14/12/2017 16:49 | Well seeing as there is absolutely no volume at all today in BRD here's the chart with the first main target: free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | bikwik
14/12/2017 12:24 | Yes I couldn't agree more. In the short term it looks good for 3p, maybe 3.5p ish. Gotta nip out for a bit but i'll put a chart up that you'll like and which shows the 3.5p target. Obviously we'd like it in double figures, but we'll probably have to wait a bit for that! | bikwik
14/12/2017 08:53 | If you look at the five year chart if that 'bowl' plays out......we have something to look forward to ! IMO | hazl |
