10/11/2020 11:55 | Stig they get US$20m spent on the project. These things aren't generally valued at the JV point. The key point is RIO has agreed to spend $20 on the project. better to value it once something has been discovered... but do it however you want. Makes no difference I see a couple of shorts got fumigated in this little run. JAY seem to still have a lot still to come going by company announcements. This one came from left field, what else is there? | longrod
10/11/2020 11:50 | Well in order of anticipated news, didn't expect this to be the first to come out post OTC listing. Knew JAY were looking at partnerships on its Finland prospects but very good to see the tie-up with Rio Tinto. Expect more of these earn-in agreements with JAY left with a free carry, as this one shows. This is just the start of news on the way but this was almost a bonus to what I was expecting. But getting onto full OTCQB has removed the block so great news. On the subject of OTC, then correct me if I am wrong but did not the OTC site itself categorise JAY as grey market right up to last Thursday I think then was showed as pink market for just 2 days before shown as full OTCQB. Logical to assume the core OTC site itself is actually correct and not what other sites show. All irrelevant history now anyway as JAY is now on OTCQB, for when those USA investors want (not demand!) to invest. You may well be right Mirabeau on Rio and Dundas, as previously said it is delayed not stopped and IMHO there are good reasons for it to continue. But they may not be in the first tranche of offtake agreements I wonder and don't think they are the primary one right now as will become clear shortly IMHO. But who said Dundas was going to stay at this level of production and we may yet be looking at the demand to expand beyond its initial target production? Economics for Dundas looking good (even for long distance shipments) with its high purity Ilmenite supply (e.g. very low slime content unlike others such as MLR) and about to get even better much to the benefit of local communities like Qaanaaq. | perfect choice
10/11/2020 11:43 | Isnt most of Dundas output already taken? (or will be once agreement completes) | luffness
10/11/2020 11:40 | Two RNS JV & Earn-In Agreement with Rio Tinto Mining | monet
10/11/2020 11:40 | Agree probably back to 25p levels now. | tidy 2
10/11/2020 11:38 | I'm not a holder, yet. Still waiting for Dundas offtake but now RIO and JAY have signed off this commercial contract that forms the basis of a formal corporate relationship I believe a Dundad offtake is a matter of time...imvho | mirabeau
10/11/2020 11:36 | Got some more @11.25. Hopefully a bargain :) | dhb368
10/11/2020 11:32 | I think this agreement is a precursor to a RIO-JAY offtake for Dundas...just my gut feeling | mirabeau
10/11/2020 11:31 | $20m for 75% so establishes value of about $6.67m for JAY remaining stake | the stigologist
10/11/2020 11:30 | Much obliged. | shutittrev
10/11/2020 06:57 | MY POST @8417: HYPES HOLDING DOWN LON:JAY's POTENTIAL (p1) : [1] DUNDAS may be sitting on the world's largest deposit of 46.5%TiO2 ilmenite, but who wants it in nearby USA or CANADA where the freight may be tolerated? I hear of buyers from EASTERN EUROPE and CHINA but we have to learn from the experience of TSXV:MLR (Queensland nearer to China) who are still struggling even with their much better 49.0%TiO2 ilmenite. | kemismelt
09/11/2020 22:36 | davroc, I just post my opinion, if you don't like it maybe you should use the filter? You were told on here that the US listing only started today, led by "investor demand", yet the stock didn't trade on the OTC today, not one single trade! The stock has actually been trading on the pink sheets for a while, yet that is denied here. There have been a handful of trades in months, which you can see on the OTC website or Yahoo Finance. Those are the facts, unlike other, I don't invent stuff that other people want to hear. Yet people prefer people that do. It's a funny old game... | andy
09/11/2020 21:56 | Please will you all just filter Andy. When his posts get no response he will become bored and disappear. Ditto with Kemismelt. | davroc
09/11/2020 21:25 | trev, My posts cause you angst yet you always read them... And I'm the oaf? :-) PS I frequently watch teams I don't support, because I enjoy watching the game at all levels, just like I come to a discussion board to discuss stocks and shares for the same reason. | andy
09/11/2020 20:20 | Yes Andy, but only a complete oaf would turn up each week to watch a team they didn't support. | shutittrev |
