Very little interest all things considered, but it’s quite nice to be in a share where there is little BB noise, and most of the equity is in highly sticky hands!

So, they are selling 25% of the production at 80% of the prevailing price of gold, a hedging type arrangement. That will knock some of the calculations back a bit until it's cleared.


And no mention of how they'll fund the buyout, will that be via equity I wonder?

I think it will be quite a while yet, November maybe.

From RNS 28/9

''Southern Gold have notified the Company that it has elected to go to the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia (IAMA) in order for an Independent Expert to appointed. The Expert must within 30 days of appointment determine the value.''

As of 28/9 the expert had not yet been appointed to trigger the 30 day countdown.
We've not had confirmation of any appointment yet, it may or may not even have occurred yet.

Lets hope that institute is not too slow and bureaucratic a beast

Surprised nobody commented those two 3 million buys - 2 days ago. It's 1.5% of shares. Somebody is confident.Had the 30 day period (for determining the sale price) started at the time around the last RNS? I would think so however not 100% sure.Thanks.
