08/3/2007 16:02 | when are results due? i thought there was news end of this month | jaykay1981
07/3/2007 16:47 | I think I remember reading a year or so ago that BBay are reported to have one of the most successful High Yield teams in the business. Suppose the next month or so will tell. | km11
06/3/2007 16:52 | Most of the AUM (Approx 87% ) are in Sub-Investment Grade / High Yield Corporate Credit & Emerging Markets. The recent volatility (correction) has caused an increase in the risk premium on these types of asset class. Allbeit the flight to quality reduction in the risk free rate has partially offset the overall rise in yield. If there is any entity out there that has been most affected by this sell off it's more than likely to be BBAY If spreads continue to widen like this then it's (performance related) profits are toast. | liquidkid
06/3/2007 16:45 | Does anyone have any idea within which range the interim profits for the half year to be announced on 20 March are likely to come in at?? | ncp3

08/2/2007 11:08 | Fingers crossed - Oxman - did you buy in in the end? Its still not too late to buy in for this one - just gutted I didnt go with my thoughts when it first released - and got in at 320p! | jspearing2
08/2/2007 10:28 | touched 400 for the third time. lets see if we can get through this stumbling block! | jaykay1981
07/2/2007 14:42 | looking good to break clear of its old highs soon | its the oxman
06/2/2007 13:18 | Im surprised the price has not moved more today. massive buys going through | jaykay1981
05/2/2007 20:38 | The company will also be large enough to qualify for an index and so the trackers will have to buy in before March end to maintain their relative weightings. That should cause a few spikes nearer the time. | nickcduk
05/2/2007 19:30 | Oxman, Altium have 430p target and Citi have 410p,sure to be upgraded after results in 6 weeks which should sparkle. | sheath
23/1/2007 18:27 | Oxman - I dont think that you are late at all - I think this is a longer term investment though - it is new to the market - I am really gutted I didnt get in when it first released on the market - I also know the company well, and they are making a mint - plush Pall Mall offices and more cash than they know what to do with I think!! | jspearing2
19/1/2007 16:07 | late to the party maybe, but bought my first holding c.360p after the positive reaction to the trading update. anyone got any broker forecasts, price targets etc as info seems limited to me. | its the oxman
16/1/2007 12:45 | Dipped my toe in yesterday on a tip from a friend who knows the company quite well. Making shedloads apparently. | sheath
12/12/2006 12:34 | Today is looking very good - and that price of £6.60 - I think that you are right - that is easily reachable - Im glad I bought into this when I did - it has easily broken through the 400p barrier this morning - this is certainly a big riser for the next few years. The company having a lot of money is also true - and to function as well as they are so fast shows good management as well I think - hopefully we will all see our money doubling - if only picking shares was always as easy as this one!! Good luck all - lets hope this continues! | jspearing2
12/12/2006 09:56 | another superb day gorilla36. | jaykay1981
11/12/2006 11:59 | jaykay - This idea that a lot of fund managers have a lot of cash but not necessarily a good home to place it, is certainly true. I would have thought though it they were not getting a good return on that cash pile that it may affect the share price negatively. Having said all that I'm from today. Can't ignore the chart. I also bought into Ashmore a few back, similiar story and doing well at the moment. | gorilla36
11/12/2006 09:58 | They have 9 new funds in development. I have a contact there who reckons we could be looking at 6.60 in 18 months time. Apparently they have 'too much money' to know what to do with! | jaykay1981
06/12/2006 18:26 | Frustrating end to the day!! | jaykay1981
06/12/2006 16:09 | This company will have profits rising massively over the next few years - that is almost guarenteed. Huge profits in an expanding company means rising share price... trust me. The long run is the way forward - this will fluctuate yes and of course it will have its down days - but just watch this space - and shoot me if Im wrong - can see this doubling in the next year or 18 months | jspearing2 |
